Single, Dating, Engaged, Married: Navigating Life and Love in the Modern Age

This is the best book. I can’t recommend it enough. The amount of advice I was able to give based off this book is insane! People struggle with relationships daily! I have got about 5 people to read it and love it! Amazing. Thank God for giving this author the words to put down in such an intriguing way. Great for those who are wanting to be better.

I have read many christian books on singleness, dating, sex, and marriage. Most of them frustrate me, make me fee bad, or I just downright disagree with. This book did none of that and I believe it is because of how Christ centered it is. The single, dating , and sex sections were incredibly helpful. They not only reminded me that singleness is good but that God is always our goal and compass. Ben does such a good job of sharing his owm experiences or that of others without making ome feel bad or envious. That is a difficult thing to do and again, I believe that is because he uses every example to point to the christ likeness in it. I was worried about the engaged and marriage parts as usualy whrn I read about both of those from any christian, the advice and examples no longer apply to me. Ben writes these sections to everyone, not leaving out the single crowd. And his biblical examples are unique and beautiful. His explaining of marriage written in the bible is convicting and refreshing. This book isn't just encouraging and helpful, it is smart, very well researched, and therapeutic, as well as, all about Jesus.

I got this book as a gift from my mother on Christmas. I set it down for about a year then finally dove in. It's an amazing book that doesn't pull any punches, written from a Christian biblical stand point. Its conservative in its thinking which is such a good thing in this overly sexualized world. It really helped me feel confident about my beliefs when it came to dating. It really helped me see dating from God's point of view. That made a world of difference and without this timely read I would not be married today (along with a lot of other things the Lord used to prepare me) It set up a foundation that would allow me to court/date my future wife. I felt really confident in the decisions I made while dating and it totally paid off. Very happily married. So stop wasting time, read this book and get a ring.

This book was amazing. Really helped me truly understand the patience of waiting in my single season and get more in touch with my faith. Got this recommendation off tik tok without realizing that it was about faith, but it truly changed my life and brought me closer to god. It also really teaches you about each season in your life and how they should be appreciated.

Good book for all romantic stages of life

Great read. Good for those confused or needing direction in romantic relationships. Has some good points, although some I didn’t agree with. But the author didn’t feel too pushy or judgy. Not affiliated with one particular denomination from what I recall. But just outlines stages of a relationship with general principles for each one. Christian book

Top 3 book for me. I’m not engaged or married so those chapters didn’t serve me as much. But the single and dating chapters… WOW. Never have I put so many sticky tabs / notes on a book. Eye opening and refreshing perspective on singleness coinciding with your time with God. Made me feel less like a lonely single loser and more proud of the boundaries I have created as well as patience for what’s to come. Planning to read again

A great read! Some friends and I read this book together and we were all able to learn from it in our different seasons in life. Great for girls and guys!

With the book of Ben Stuart I’m re-learning what loving relationship really mean. Thank you for your illuminating work! I wanted to find out and read it earlier in my life.

This book is recommend to all Christians which have been dealing with the eager to get married. Sooner you start it, the better. I’m at my 31 and wished I have read it when I was a teenager. Ben Stuart gives you a roadmap, for each season, it’s not a cake recipe, instead it provide intel on what you should do, following God’s Word. Thanks for this blessing!

Engaging, Biblical, with good insights

Un gran libro. Soy muy fan de Ben Stuart desde que estaba en Texas. Ahora en Passion, lanzó un libro que habla excelente acerca de las etapas de una relación, lo cual está padrísimo. Lo recomiendo mucho, no importa tu estado civil o condicion amorosa actual, es un libro que trasciende las relaciones de pareja y habla de las etapas de madurez. Lo recomiendo.
