I Bought this pedal because the unique design caught my eye, and for the price I couldn't lose. Haven't seen any pedals and slim as this one. Very sturdy and well built. There are led lights on the foot switch to show it's powered on, and also on the knob markers so you can see the settings in a dark environment. You can use a standard 9v center negative power supply or they also included an adapter so that you can use a 9v battery. Nice surface on the bottom to apply Velcro and get on a pedal board. And I love the artwork on the front. I had never heard of Morceau Music,but after reading the handful of reviews, I thought what the heck, I’ll try it. After hooking it up, I was impressed how low you could go with just a hint of breakup without going completely overboard. Even at maximum gain it still had a nice clarity with single notes & chords (with single coil Pups). With humbuckers, Katie bar the door, you get more drive without losing the clarity I spoke of. It’s not for metal heads, or someone who wants to get dirty with 80,s rock. But for some guys like me who love blues & southern rock, I think it’s the ticket I,ve been chasing after for a good number of years. Yeah, I’m a dinosaur pushing 60, but I know what I like to hear coming out of my (tube) amp. For the price, it’s a steal. Heck, I,ve spent more on a lousy steak dinner, and this Morceau overdrive is worth ten times more than a decent meal. I just ordered another one as a gift for a friend to share in the joy.
