This is a great perch. I had no trouble putting it together. They sent all the hardware including two extra screws which I love getting extra things and an allen wrench to put it together with it ,didn't take very long. It's a nice size. Should last these chickies a while. The mirrors are nice. They do have a protective film over them That needs to be peeled off. I think this will last a long time and my chickies will love it!

Bought this item for my silkie chicks while they are being kept inside our home. Very durable for the price and accurately described for young chicks, however, the title indicates works for parrot or macaw but I disagree. This item is much too small for any type of large parrot to perch on and would be chewed to shreds in a matter of minutes. I wouldn’t recommend this for any type of house bird other than for parakeets or finches. This product fits nicely in a pet pop-up pen where we are currently housing silkie chicks until warm enough to move them outside. The pieces fit nice and snug together so that there is no worry for their toenails to get caught or cause injury. The chicks love jumping up on them and they hold up nicely.

Seeing this item brings a tear to my eyes. I got this for my baby chicks when they were about two weeks old and they could all (six) sit on this. Now they're so chonky that they almost hang off the sides of this. They've loved the mirror and there's always someone on it - every minute of every day. If your chickens are wobbly weirdos, they'd absolutely love this. The mirrors are fun too, they can't seem to figure out where those other chickens are. Or perhaps with mirrors, chickens can see into another dimension, and that's what makes them a bit weird. Who knows? All I know is that the chicks loved this and this will be going into their big girl coop this weekend. I'd also like to note that this was absolutely a good value, the wood quality was there, it was easy to assemble, and it's pretty alright to clean.

I have the tiniest day of chicks from Belgian D'Uccle chickens and this is so tiny they don't fit. Also, you have to assemble it and the wood legs don't fit into the holes, they just fall right out.
