This is so much nicer for a large sanding job; it stays in place almost as well as clamping it, and I can sand the entire exposed surface rather than having to readjust clamps. I've used cheaper bench cookies, but they weren't that much cheaper and they didn't work nearly as well. These are a better value than the ones I got directly from the big box stores.
