What is the manufacturer directions for washing the cloths? (Please do not answer if you do not know manufacturers recommendation)

The manufacturer says cold water, do not wash with other items, dryer only on low setting, no bleach, no ironing...who would even thnk of ironing these? I washed them in warm water, only detergent and with just a couple of colored towels. I dried them as usual in my dryer. I think the dryer on on the low setting is for those who may use laundromat dryers that get much hotter than home dryers. Mine came out beautifully.

Why does it say to not dry this product in dryer?

It will ruin the fabric over time. Definitely never use dryer sheets with microfiber

Do these need a prewash before using? I have bought different brands of microfiber cloths which i have discaeded as they had no absorbency.

I don't know if these need to be washed. I did wash them before use and air dried them. They absorb liquids fine.
