(Please do not answer if you do not know manufacturers recommendation)** A: The manufacturer says cold water, do not wash with other items, dryer only on low setting, no bleach, no ironing...who would even thnk of ironing these? I washed them in warm water, only detergent and with just a couple of colored towels. I dried them as usual in my dryer. I think the dryer on on the low setting is for those who may use laundromat dryers that get much hotter than home dryers. Mine came out beautifully. **Q: Why does it say to not dry this product in dryer?** A: It will ruin the fabric over time. Definitely never use dryer sheets with microfiber **Q: Where is the thickness on these?** A: Decent cloth **Q: Do these need a prewash before using? I have bought different brands of microfiber cloths which i have discaeded as they had no absorbency.** A: I don't know if these need to be washed. I did wash them before use and air dried them.
