It fits what rifles i have cleaned so far. It helps keep solvents out of the trigger area. Seams to be good quality. It helps protect the bore from unwanted rod scraping. It has a nice appearance.

This product works great and is very versatile. Greatly reduces cleaning time and keeps the chamber from getting too much solvent inside. Fits AR as well as bolt actions. I saw where some have complained about the handle not fitting in the bolt recess in the stock and so all you do is move it into the ejection port and it is very sturdy. The accessories that come with it are all very useful. I will recommend this to my friends.

I am happy with it. However, it was highly overpriced. After I purchased it on amazon I found it on other sports places selling for less. Most of the small accesories and adapters are useless but the unit does a great job and is easy to use while protects the gun.

I am buying my second one from Amazon. I got the first one from another vendor and fitted a 22 bore guide from Possum Hollow on the patch holder...anyway...I needed this kit for my Savage 308 and other rifles. I am familiar with what it will do and know it will work fine. If I find I need to adjust something to fit one of my guns I will saw a bit and glue a bit and make what I need. The best part of this kit is the patch holder. I like the kit and recommend it. I also recommend making your own adjustments and make it do exactly what you need it to do. With the thousands of rifle styles out there, there is sure to be a few this assembly does not work with. Another post said to save the money and get the cheaper white tube types with the black o rings. I suggest that if this is necessary, get some plastic tubing to fit the end of the other style guides and attach them as needed to the patch holder. Make this tool work for you. Great buy if you have nice rifles or are just tired of getting your actions all goobered up with solvent. AR adapter is a God send too. The tube and plasic on the side you put the rod in is a little cheap but it still gets the job done. If you prefer using jags instead of eyelets this thing is a real help, the big head shown here has a peice that slides back and you can put a patch in and it grabs it pretty tight, you can put oil on it from there or just stick your jag in behind it and run it through. It can get a little time consuming to set up and put away, but it sure beats making a mess and having to deal with that.

If you’re on the fence about splurging on one of these, get it. It’s not just a fancy gadget, this took my cleaning and break in time down significantly on my precision rifle, while keeping the action clean and free of scratches from the rod and bore cleaners
