Works fine, easy to install and has good instructions

Worked fine (knock wood), no leaks and everything fit my decades-old toilet. I saw one person complain that a problem with the float valve caused a leak and damage; this kit does not include the float valve, so I do not know what that person was talking about. Another person complained about there only being two bolts; yes, that is how many you need. The entire process took me 1.5 hours, including cleaning and having to remove the old, corroded parts. One place in the instructions did not make sense, as it seemed to indicate putting a nut on over a bolt before that bolt goes through a hole. The diagram was more clear. They should also mention that the tank will be wobbly sitting on the gasket to the bowl portion before the nuts to either side get their final crankdown. Sure hope that it lasts, but I am purchasing one for an idential toilet.

These are brand name and are the best and easy install! Best thing no HOME DEPOT ! Messy stores, different location of Merch from store to store. Some folks have bad attitude or the usual “ This my second day, let me get someone to help”

-All the negative reviews seem to be user error or having a toilet that is not compatible. Watch youtube video(S) and compare with your toilet and you likely wont have any issues. -The toilet in question that I had was cycling every 2-3 minutes it was a Gerber model estimated late 1990s model. I had already replaced the fill valve and flapper at this point. So I took the plunge and bought this flush valve. -READ THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THEIR ENTIRETY, Make sure you have all the required tools before hand (namely a large enough crescent wrench or adjustable wrench) -The only issue I ran into was a small leak from the sides of the toilet (later determined to be reservoir screws) after each flush, I doubled down on the instructions and they supply many metal washers and rubbers washers for the reservoir screws and it specifies a correct order in which I neglected to put one of the rubber washers on the outer surface (weird the OEM screws weren't set up that way but nevertheless it fixed the leak).

Quick installation, great instructions and good quality materials. No more occasional leak or refilling issues. Great product.

I like this kit. A very cost effective and quick fix. I like to have a kit like this with a new fill valve as spares. I have rental property and my own home. I usually throw these kits in a rental property between new tenants so I don't get called for any toilet issues at 2 AM. Once you understand how a toilet works it's pretty simple. Over the years I've learned if the toilet starts to have an issue I don't just usually chase one part I replace all the parts at one time. Its like $30 in parts and 30 minutes to an hour labor and you should be good for at least a few years. I usually put the toilet tank lid in the shower so it won't get damaged. Flush the toilet to empty the tank as best you can. Turn your water supply line off at the wall and then remove the tank screws off each side. Then I will unscrew the water supply line from the tank last and gently tilt the tank to the opposite side to not leak the water on the floor (since you unscrewed thexsupply line) then I empty the remaining water from the tank into a sink. From there, then just replace the parts per the instructions. Consider having a green scrub pad and some CLR if toiler cleanser won't remove all the stains. The toilet can look near new when you're done. You got this. Plus there's you tube university out there if you need it. :-) Take care
