Fjallraven, Kanken Mini Classic Backpack for Everyday

Just received it yesterday and as u can see I’ve already attacked this bag with pins and keychains. By all of the tags and the logo in the front it all looks authentic. Came with all the same tags the others I’ve gotten in the past from the kanken site so it looks to be legit. If you have one of these bags in the graphite color this super gray color looks very similar, I have the sling in the graphite and the graphite is just a bit more on the bluish side. I have a few of these bags and I highly recommend them, be mindful that if your on the tall side or if you’re on the thicker or heavy side the straps may be too short, go with the original size instead. If you’re 5’4” and under and/or on the thinner side and thinking about getting this bag go for it! Great quality bags especially if you have little ones, they can use them too. And they always fit the essentials I need for them, the mini size holds a lot! I can carry pull ups for my son, wipes, makeup bag, wallet ice breakers gum (which is a big container), mints, my ray bans, keys, hand sanitizer spray, bottle for my son, small toy for my daughter, and several other things in the main compartment alone with a little room to spare and I have several small items in the front pocket. Very cute little bags and worth the price imo.

My favorite purse! Yes, I use it as a purse. And it holds EVERYTHING and then some, even for its “mini” size. Thick durable fabric, which is also water resistant keeps everything dry inside. Taken this backpack everywhere, and it easily washes up. I also purchased the padded straps. The side pockets are not big enough for water bottles, but perfect for sunglasses, hand sanitizer, and doggy poop bags! Big things really do come in small packages!

Was wary about ordering a kanken mini off amazon, but looking at the bag it has all hallmarks of being legit merch from Fjallraven. Inside is finished well, logo is reflective, wasa6 on snaps and fox logo, zippers have the correct earmarks- Fjallraven, fox, ykk. Has a Swedish flag inside, and all item numbers match on tag inside bag and on hang tag. Material is nice quality and is water resistant. I can fit a Standard size Travelers Notebook inside with a pocket size leather notebook and have room for another zipper pouch with lots of items. It can also fit an A5 size TN. So pretty much what ever size TN you have will fit with room to spare. It will NOT hold a composition size notebook. If you need that, size up to the next biggest backpack. It does come with the plastic seat pad. This does help keep the structure of the bag. If you want to, you could ditch it, and use the pocket for extra storage. An iPhone 7 Plus will fit in the side pockets and barely peek out the top. I have a popsocket on mine, and it fits no problem. Front zipper pocket is roomy enough for my car keys, a key ring with loyalty cards, and some chapstick, and room to spare. I am a plus size gal, and I can wear this as a backpack. The difference between this model and the kids version is that this has longer straps so adults can wear it. Kids straps are shorter. This is a great backpack that can be used as a hand carried bag. Unisex so also good for men. Color selection is great. I chose graphite to not show much dirt. I do have to say, getting the snaps through the rings at top to lengthen the straps was a PAIN in the behind. Also wish there was a way to close the side pockets to keep things securely in. But all in all, this is a great product. Would I recommend it? Yes. My every day carry is the essentials, with nice leather travelers notebooks. Having my leather protected from the elements is nice. And easy access to what I need is a plus. Buy with confidence!

Firstly, I ordered from OutdoorEquipped and I'm 100% sure it's authentic based on what people here are saying with how the fakes looked like. The spelling of the tags all checked out, the size matched the manufacturer's description, the stitching pattern is of the genuine kind, etc. I wanted a small bag that can still carry a lot. I also may have bought this bag for its aesthetic. I normally carry around 2 Muji notebooks, a makeup bag, a pencil case, a wallet, a water bottle, and scarf. Everything can fit and there's still more room to spare. I imagine that this bag would also be excellent for traveling and hiking. I ordered a navy one, and the color is slightly darker than how it appears online; but otherwise, it's not a big difference. Material seems very sturdy, and even though I packed a lot in this bag, it is still remarkably light. The material is a bit stiff, but I'm pretty The side pockets cannot really hold a water bottle unfortunately, but a small umbrella can fit as well. The front pocket is not too small: my keys can fit as well as a pack of tissues and chapstick. Also, for reference, I'm 5'0", and for once, this bag did not dwarf me at all, so if you're petite, this bag is the perfect size.

purchased exclusively for disneyland since i go 1-3x per year. perfect size, can fit a surprising amount - i shoved an entire padded denim jacket in here and still had room for the group’s wallets, huge key ring, tide stick, full size bottle of sunscreen, and more. fit into some of the bag containers on rides but not all. docked 1 star because like all kankens, it gets dirty so so fast and it really stains. very hard to clean once it’s dirty, i scrubbed with a toothbrush and dawn soap, baking soda, even tried oxyclean, and the dirt really refused to come out. also the straps can be a bit uncomfortable, i wish there was more padding. overall classic kanken quality, well made, sturdy fabric, very happy with my purchase and hoping to embrace the natural wear and tear.

i bought this mini pack in 2015 and it's still going strong with nearly daily use. it's a great purse that doesn't cause shoulder pain because the weight is evenly distributed across the upper back. it's also surprisingly roomy. i bought a Cocoon Innovations GRID-IT! 8-Inch Accessory Organizer with Tablet Pocket (CPG41BKT) to organize the innards. i usually put my kindle in the cocoon's pocket where it is well protected. i've filled up the grid of the cocoon with tape, pens, a rhodia notepad holder, a small moleskin notebook, a mini maglight, a pack of mints, a small knife, and more. this fits snugly in the bag and the pack unzips all the way for easy access to everything if necessary. on the sides of this i have a small bottle of pills. i then have room for a glucometer, a book of crossword puzzles, a can of coke, and a bottle of gatorade. it's truly a bag of holding! the side pocket isn't really good for much. it doesn't close so i feel like anything i'd put in there would be insecure. even though the front pocket is tiny, i can jam a lot in there, too. there is a small cushion for tiny children to sit on in the back panel, which makes the pack pretty comfortable. it's also a kind of hidden pocket because the cocoon fits so perfectly in the back. i highly recommend this surprisingly roomy and durable bag. plus, it's super cute.

I am using this backpack as my diaper bag and purse at the same time. It can hold everything I need for me and my son. I am able to put in a water bottle (not on the sides). It fits his diapers and wipes and a change of clothes and socks. I am also able to put in my wallet, essentials and a lot more. The straps feel good and comfortable but I do wish it was a bit longer so I can have it band a little bit on my back instead of it being right on my back. It doesn’t get hot but I would like the option of loosening it more. The bag has a small pocket in front and is able to fit my AirPods and smaller items such as individual wipes, a pack of tissue, keys and other smaller stuff. I don’t put anything on the side pockets because I have nothing to put except my mace. I have a lot of stuff but it doesn’t seem heavy at all. The bag itself is very light weight. The material is rough but I assume that’s due to the fact that it’s waterproof. I personally have not gotten it wet yet though. The color is perfect in my opinion it came out a bit just a bit darker than the photo but I like it. All in all it’s a good diaper bag and purse for me.

This is the perfect little backpack for daily use. I love how the zippers come all the way down on both sides so you can access everything you pack. I have so many essentials in this bag and always have what my family needs because of its functionality. It's super durable and will last a lifetime from what I can tell. I plan on this being my go-to backpack for an extremely long time. I also love how the handles have a little button so you can clip it to things. I am constantly attaching this to other bags and handles of various things we use. The front zipper pocket is also a super generous size that makes it easy to stay organized. I am so happy with my purchase!
