It is what it says it is, you can't really say anything else. It is thin, but it's also very cheap. Will suit for autumn or to go under a motorbike helmet (I'd imagine I don't have one so I don't know for sure) but if you wanna get a winter balaclava for cycling about to work you're better off spending a bit more and looking for something thicker. Got this for my son when he was dressing up as ninja as part of another costume we bought he liked it and it worked well fitted well thin but not delicate and he said it felt comfortable too
