I ride every day, often on fairly bumpy surfaces like brick streets, and it shows no sign of coming detached. **Q: What is the size (diameter) of the case?** A: Roughly about 1 3/4 inches at widest part. Hard to measure after mounted. **Q: Does it stick to fabrics, such linings of luggage?** A: It sticks to hard smooth surfaces quite well with the 3M that comes with it.
