Cheap Chinese construction. Update: The company reached out to make my experience better. They offered to refund my money or send me out a new one. Which I took them up on the latter. I just installed it and it is working fine. So good that I am ordering some more to replace my old Halogen puck lights. The company is very professional in reaching out to their customers. I deducted the one star from the first one that was bad. But they really are 5 star company. It was easy to install and works great. The only thing is that the dimmer control box is made of cheap plastic and kept coming apart. I added a piece of electrical tape to hold it together. I am pleased with the soft light and it makes a little dark corner much easier to see. I would recommend this light. I love the slim design and looks great.
