This car is awesome. It is small but it drives really well in grass. The buttons are a little sensitive on the remote. If you push it forward too hard the car will flip upside down. I haven't tried it in water yet.

For the value, this car is every bit worth its price! I really like how durable and quick, this car is. And it’s water proof too! I actually bought 2 of them. And after reading some reviews, I decided to order a couple more, bigger and more expensive cars. Luckily, the 2 that I have , showed up, my grandson and I took them right out in the back yard and alleyway. And we had a ball! I quickly canceled the other 2, since they hadn’t shipped yet and these 2 work great, and they came with backup batteries. Nice!😊

So bought this it came in 2 days but the remote didn't work my 5 year old did not understand why I wasn't letting him play with it and it broke his heart! However I contacted support and got a new one the very next day. It was simple to send back they came and picked it up and brought the return sticker. Brilliant. The new one works great and it's his favorite toy now, it really is amazing for being only 50 dollars. I've seen expensive r.v vehicles less durable than this. It's sturdy, it's fast, the battery lasts a good 2 hours and comes with 2 batteries. He loves that it can spin 360 degrees. His little hands work the remote great. Haven't tried it In water yet but I imagine it will do as advertised. One little complaint is the battery compartment, it's very small and doesn't leave much room to put the wires inside so u have to really push them in and because of that I imagine it will only be a matter of time before the wire sliced or bent too much and it loses connection. Other than that small detail my son adores it!!! Recommend 100%

My special needs son )40)got a kick out of this fairly cheap battery powered car . He limited of what he can do with hands but did a pretty good job and laughed the whole time

The double-sided water running prevented any stalled fun, since it can flip over and keep on surfing. With two included rechargeable batteries, the 20 minutes of run time per charge provides plenty of play. Bought for my grandson's 7th birthday. It was so much fun. All the "boys" from young to old loved it! Easy to use. Highly recommend.

November 2022: Bought this for my two year old who’s obsessed with monster trucks. He’s had three of the monster jam branded ones from Walmart. Those Walmart ones break at the axles very easily and the aaa batteries run dead every ten minutes. Those “New Bright” rc trucks break within a week.. This one however; he’s beaten it, dropped it, drowned it, you name it.. it’s still driving around like it’s brand new. The battery in the truck is a bit hard to swap but it’s mainly because it’s fairly large capacity battery fit into a watertight compartment on the truck. I’ll take that trade off. The battery does last about 20 minutes of non stop action before dying. With the two batteries he’s been able to play with almost no charging breaks. I’ll be buying a few more of these trucks just in case this item becomes unavailable here and he is actually able to break this one. July 2023: truck still going strong with absolutely zero issues. My now 3 year old and 1 year old boys like to drive it straight off the couch, straight off the kitchen counters, etc just to watch it crash onto the ground to see if it’ll flip and land on its wheels. If they’re intermittently throttling it and randomly driving it around the battery actually lasts the whole day. I find that the only times I have to change a fully dead battery is when they go to bed and leave it on. Since it comes with a second battery though I just swap the dead for fresh in the morning and they’re good to go. Updating this review because I’m buying a second one right now. If I have to pick something as negative I’d say 1: the remote is where you’ll find that they cut the cost. I’ve never had any issues with it and that’s even with my youngest drowning it in the dog water bowl a few months ago. It was fine, I just pulled the batteries and let it dry out. 2: the remote is a digital on/off for both throttle and turning. It’s all or nothing. I have quite a few more hobbyist rc cars and it would be nice if this one had more control like those. This isn’t that big of a deal however since my boys don’t notice. They’d mash the throttle anyways!!

Product arrived safely & on time. Given to a 4 yr. old boy who seems to like it a lot. it works great, is very tough, & the battery lasts a surprisingly long time. The motor makes a significant whining noise which I believe is normal & acceptable when outside but can be a bit much in-doors. Very satisfied with this purchase & product.

This Stemtron Amphibious Remote Control Car when my young grandson received it for Christmas did not work and is a great disappointment. How can they return and get it replaced as I live in France and am so upset by this gift being useless? In France I am a premier customer and up until this I had a very high option of amazon but now feel gutted my young grandson has been so disappointed by this gift. Sandra Sedgwick
