One thing to keep in mind is that for very heavy stains, you may still need a pre-treatment, but that’s true for most gentle detergents. Smells good, cleans and way cheaper than dreft

I originally bought this detergent when my baby , and now I use it for the whole family. It’s that good. The scent is absolutely amazing — very soft, gentle, and clean, almost like that cozy baby smell, not strong or overwhelming at all. The liquid is clear, which I really like, especially for kids’ clothes. I don’t worry about any stains, residue, or damage to fabrics — everything comes out clean and fresh. I truly love this brand. Whenever I run out, I don’t even think about trying something else — I just repurchase it right away.

This version of detergent seems more effective than the Free and Clear Plus version Costco sells at a much lower price. Because this version is so expensive, I only use it for the dirtiest of loads, but it works great. It leaves the laundry clean, no smell, and softer. If ALL lowered the price, I would switch over entirely. Why have so many versions of detergent that have varying degrees of effectiveness? I tried Oxi powder added to laundry and it ruined clothes by stripping them of their dye, but this detergent doesn’t do that.
