They are tough, dry quickly, the bottom grips last forever,
I got these shoes to try the vibram grips out, the first pair lasted 3 years every day wear for two. I have had 5 pairs love the whole shoe their tough. 1 thing is please put better insoles in them. Beef up the front of the insole Merrell please. Other than that thank everyone at Merrell for an awesome kick ace footwear.

foot wonder
I have bad feet. Have lots of trouble with shoes. For me, these hit the mark. They have enough room in the toe box to not rub anything. And they have more toe protection than most shoes. The chassis mid shoe is adjustable enough to minimize movement. Sole is substantial, secure in walking, safe feeling. I've had these several months now. Deferred reviewing. I love 'em. They are more shoe than I expected (that's on me) so I was initially bummed at their weight. They benefit from break-in, but I liked their feel and fit right off. Unfortunately, I almost always track in mud with the grippy soles. 1/24/23 Had a contractor come to my house today to bid a job. He was wearing these shoes. Said he works in them every day, which, for me, is another good recommendation.

Downgrade in comfort compared to Moab 1
A step down in comfort compared to the Moab vent 1. These have thinner padding all around, I wish the old Moab was available in my size. I’d buy a dozen. I hike about 9 miles a day on weekdays and 16 on weekends-,so the extra padding is sorely missed. Otherwise, they are almost as comfortable as the Moab Vent 1. Soles are great. Laces need to be double tied, or they come loose. Now, they are the Stepmother of all boots.

Worth it
These are great hiking style summer footage. Very comfortable, extremely durable and true to size. The price was slightly less then retail so a good buy.
