PUREDROP - BEST ALL AROUND, GREAT PRICE, GREAT SUPPORT & A HIGH QUALITY RO SYSTEM
Wow Unbelievable. after 4 years - update. 2024. I called and talked with Nick again who provided the VERY BEST customer service I have ever gotten in my entire life. He answered the phone and within minutes my small install problem was solved and he is sending the part I needed at no charge. If you are looking for the best RO system, at the best price, you do not need to look any further. I did extensive research and found the Puredrop RO system to be the best overall. It has the best price, wonderful support, and is a very well-made quality system. ISPRING VS PUREDROP Puredrop is the same company that makes ISpring, which is also a very nice RO system. I was not sure if I should buy the Puredrop RO system compared the ISpring RO system, so I called support and asked the difference. I spoke with both Nick and Don who provided all the answers to my questions so that I could make an educated decision. ISpring RO t is more money, but you get more for your money: Larger Tank, a Clear 1st Stage tank, and a better faucet. In my case, it is just me and my wife, and I do not need a larger tank and I have a faucet from owning other RO systems and I would only be giving up the clear tank with the Puredrop System. CLEAR 1st STAGE TANK If you change your filters on time, there really is no reason to see inside the first stage. If you are forgetful, it may be a good idea to get the Ispring system with the clear first stage tank. FILTERS AND MEMBRANE I had other RO systems in the past, and the biggest issue I have found was the cost to replace the filters-especially the membrane, which can be as high as $40 for some name brandsโespecially if you have to have the check value built into the membrane. The Puredrop RO has the check valve as a separate component in the system, which eliminates having to buy a membrane one with a built-in check valve. PLUS, I love it that PureDrop provides an extra set of filters for the next time the filters need to be changed. After researching the filters, I found that I can buy generic filters for a lot less and if I wanted the Puredrop brand, it was not that much more. INSTALLATION AND SMALLER TANK The Puredrop RO system, which was easy to install with color coded water lines. So far everything is working fine and I really like the small compact tank, which gives me a lot more room for storage under the sink. There is no reason that I can see to have the larger tank for a family of two. CONCLUSION The Puredrop has been installed for a week when I wrote this review. I suspect that will not have any issues, but even if I do, I know that I can always call support: Nick or Don, and they will for sure take care of any issues I have for years to come.

Best water Iโve tasted and will pay for itself in a few short months
Easy to install not a problem with leakage at all , I personally drained my storage tanks twice then connected my uv up and drained a third time water tastes great like rain water only way I can explain it , the design makes it pretty self explanatory and is a good quality product Iโd recommend it especially if your on well water and share a well that doesnโt get much attention . Thank You !

Solid product
I honestly wish I had something bad to say about this system. But I got it at a really good price (127$) and itโs working flawlessly. It was pretty easy to set up. The instructions were a little confusing. But overall very easy set up and it works pretty good. I also like that it comes with replacement filters. Got my water down to about 20 ppm but donโt quote me on that because I canโt guarantee the accuracy of my meters ha ha. It fits under the sink nicely. I donโt use it for drinking water, but I do use it for my humidifier and I havenโt seen any residue buildup in the room since Iโve switched to RO.

Great taste, plenty of flow
We have had it running for 3+ months with out any issues. The directions were pretty good but I did buy a garbage disposal ro waste adapter. I didn't have enough drain pipe to install the waste clamp so the adapter worked. Everything else came for a complete install for most people plumbing. I installed mine in the basement and ran the tubing up into the kitchen sink cabinet. I also installed a T so the output goes to the fridge and also the facet at the sink. It also comes with a complete set of extra filters so this will last year almost 2 years with out replacements. Water taste great and even the dogs love it.

Works well, quite a bit of waste water
Overall I am really happy with this RO system. I had initially purchased one from a different company, where the drain wouldn't shut off. That company had zero customer support and I wasted several hours installing it, trying to troubleshoot it myself, complaining to amazon help, and then uninstalling it and returning. This one, the installation was easy. I followed instructions to flush the filters and the tank. Water tastes great. Good value for money and my low income self. I have the waste water draining into buckets and I use the water to do my laundry and to water my non-fruit tree. The only reason for 4 stars is that I am really amazed at how much waste water there would be if I wasn't using it. I get about 4 gallons of waste for every gallon of filtered water. My water was EXTREMELY hard- I had tried another filter that gets all chemicals out, and the minerals were actually making me sick, so it's worth it. I wish there was more awareness about the waste of RO systems and how to be more conscious about using this water. Or it seems like there should be a way to run the water through the filters twice. I just feel there is room for innovation in the water filtration world!

Best value and really works.
Our "new" house had awful tasting water. The water was cloudy straight from the tap. Cold or hot, it was murky and I did not like the taste of it. When I found the reverse osmosis system with five filters from Puredrop I was very excited. It took a full day for my husband to install it. It kept leaking, and they warn you that it may leak. So he just kept tightening the canisters whenever they leaked. The leaks were not the systems fault, he had not tightened them very tight from the beginning because it is plastic and he did not want to over tighten them. My first cup of water was divine. Everything I had hoped water would taste like again. It seems like a small thing, water out of your tap, until it is foul and you will not drink it. No more bottled water and I can drink as much as I want again. I am very happy with this system. Everything tastes better. Coffee, tea, and I even noticed my pooch drinking more water. I am very pleased with the system. I included a photo of the system with the color coded tubes attached already. It made it very easy to install because everything is color coded. Even the clips that go over the connectors are color coded. The system included specialty wrenches for the canisters, the wrenches in my picture are my husbands who decided to go ahead and upgrade a couple of our pipes while he was under the sink. I am also pleased that PureDrop sent extra/replacement gaskets for the system. I bought extra filters for later, but the system I bought also came with an extra set. I am telling everyone about this in hopes they can have no fluoride/chlorine water. I plan on buying another system for my brother as a gift. Four-year Update: Costumer service is great except the product is awful. Three tanks later, they continually rupture, we bought a counter version. Something is wrong with the design of the tank, and it continues to rupture the bladder inside. After the last time they sent us a replacement tank, it was three days until it ruptured as well. One of the filters had a slow leak. We found out when the cabinet floor caved in, and we heard the tank fall over. We bought the system thinking it would be no hassle, but it turned into huge hassles. The countertop purification we bought is easy to use and we can keep an eye on it, plus we never have to call and get new parts and install them. Good luck, hope this helps.

Very satisfied
We bought this during the latest prime day sale and we are happy with it. The installation went fine, though I did end up watching a couple videos along with using the manual to be sure I had things right. There were no leaks on startup despite there being at least 20 connections that could have a water leak. Most of those already come connected by the factory and you don't have to do them but they are still a possible leak source. I read a comment by a plumber that recommended putting something under the tank as the materials making up its valve are more likely to leak than others. This particular tank is smaller than most under sink systems so is better if it's tight under there. If you have a larger household you may want a bigger tank but I honestly think it's sufficient for most families and it is always refilling when water is depleted. My countertop had a hole already that was occupied by a soap dispenser, so I repurposed it for the included filtered water faucet and we fill a nice-looking dish soap dispenser that sits next to the sink now instead. Drilling the hole in the PVC pipe was much easier than I feared. Make sure it is done above the trap and the hole is the correct diameter. I purchased a digital total dissolved solids (TDS) device and the filtered water has been measuring 2 and 3 TDS, which is very good. The water tastes good to me despite there being no minerals and feels smooth in the mouth. It's nice knowing the water is pretty much as clean and pure as it possibly can be for us and our pets. The extra 3 filters included pushes out the filter buying time to 1 year. Reccomended.

Seems great for the price
As a plumber thatโs installed hundreds of r/o systems, install is a breeze. Instead of the 5 stage I get from plumbing supplier I figured Iโd try this for our new house. Other system had 200.00 filter change costs. Looks pretty much like a Hero system. Canโt knock it for the smaller pressure tank or short lengths of tubing that I didnโt use since I put it in mech room instead of under sink and used 1/2โ pex for fridge and sink faucet runs. Good pressure at 30โ away. No leaks from system. A lil tipโฆ get an oring that fits inside the tank valve instead of trying to Teflon tape tank threads and risk over tightening it.

A Very good RO with Good Support
So Let me start off by saying I have been drinking RO water all my life growing up... So when I moved to this country I spent the first few years using Brita's and ZeroWater's pitcher filters but they were not up to the mark for me (I have sensitivity to something in Tap Water that these pitcher filters just would not help with). So I finally decided to give into an RO. This RO was easy to install !! No Leaks (and this was my first time ever doing plumbing related DIY, Although you have to follow instructions to the T). I didn't install the faucet that came bundled because I didn't want to drill a hole in the kitchen sink so I bought a new 3-way faucet for my kitchen which comes with a RO connection in-built. The RO works good. The taste seemed to get better over time... I did purchase and install the extra Alkaline Mineral Cartridge to this RO (The one in the Orange/Red in the picture) to make the water less acidic which RO's tend to do by stripping out the minerals. All in all a satisfactory purchase and the Support(My conversation over Email with NICK) was pretty quick to answer any questions/rectify any issues if you find them.
