I particularly liked the temperature measuring function and the additional universal test leads allowing for a mix-and-match of probe-end types which are threaded into the lead-ends making this meter highly adaptable to take wide variety of accurate measurements in many situations. This meter has a greater functionality than I have a need to use at this time, so I can't comment on all of the different functions it's capable of that I haven't used. So, in "Pro's" column for price, functionality, and accuracy, it's a great bargain. In the "Con's" column this meter is physically smaller and lighter in construction than I would normally work with - comfortably, which is less about the meter, perhaps, and more about my preferences when working with or on anything electrical. This meter for me is perfect for testing and designing on my work bench and has more functions than I need, so far. In a commercial or industrial setting, where I spent most of my time working with electrical equipment, I would be less comfortable and would default to the industry standard and spend $200+.
