Junior Board Game for 4 Players, Ages 5 and up (Amazon Exclusive)

I played this with my 5 and 3 year old grandsons. They loved it and it was easy to explain and play.

I grew up playing monopoly with my family on New Year’s Eve and it was some of my fondest memories! Our kids are still young, so I was a bit hesitant about jumping right into the original monopoly game on such short notice. We bought the games on New Year’s Eve Eve, got them the same night, and played until the ball dropped with our 6 year old (he was the only one left up to play!) He LOVED it. We played twice because it doesn’t take nearly as long as the original. The game itself is easy to understand, colorful, fun and a great starter game into monopoly. The pieces are cute, only one dollar bills for the money so it made counting easy, and the properties weren’t properties. So cute!! Definitely going to gift this to my nephew!

Great game for young kids. Played with my 6 and 8 year old and both really enjoyed it. Easy to teach and plays in about 30-45 mins. If you want to extend the game you can make purchasing optional instead of mandatory. Let’s them start having to make decisions in preparation for the adult version. Actually that’s my only critique and reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Wish it had some scalable rules to bridge the gap instead of a big to jump from this right to the adult version when it’s time. Other than that great game for the family and intro to the game.

I have a 8 & 9 year old and we had a BLAST playing this for hours. Reminded me of when I was a kid playing with my family. Makes it super easy for kids to understand

I love Monopoly and was curious how the Jr. version was going to appeal to the kiddos. The action is similar to the regular version: you go around the board collecting properties and charge a fee when an opponent lands on your property (and vice versa). In the kid-friendly Jr. version, you automatically buy the unoccupied properties you land on and, instead of buying homes and then hotels, you make a single payment to claim the spot (by placing a cute picture of your game piece at the top). This takes out the strategy part of the decision-making and makes the process less stress-inducing (insert flash-back to an intense regular Monopoly game-night experiences : ). Also, the spaces get a kid-friendly make-over. Think Movie Theatre, PIzza Shop, Library, etc... Not to worry, Boardwalk and Park Place are still there. There is some strategy involved, but it's mostly luck. For example, the chance cards direct you to a color square vs. specific location (eg.: instead of "Go to the Movie Theatre" it would say "Go to a purple space"). The player than decides which purple space to land on. Either that or we've misunderstood the rules :). Overall, the kids love to play it (both under 10). Of course, there is still a few dramatic "I wanted that one" moments, but overall, 5 stars. Can't wait to play the real thing in a few years!

This is so easy to play and does not take forever like classic monopoly. It is a great game. My 5 year old loves it.

Lo compre para uno de mis sobrinos con edad de 7 años. y evitar que este clavado en el telefono asi como su mama; ya que de en vez de atenderlo se pierde usando el telefon, con este juego se involucran otras personas ademas que es muy divertido y entretenido para convivir con los peques de la casa

They've nailed the modified simplified rules for classic Monopoly to suit kids 5-9 and also be fun for adults and the whole family to play. Well done! Only minor improvement would be better quality paper for the bank notes - they are a little hard to handle and count.
