Love that these are quality metal threaded discs that can be taken off fully and threaded piece to use in a variety of ways that work for mounting additional hardware or attachments for 1/4" 20 threaded camera, phone, etc., mounts, tripods, and anything else. Very easy to use, perfect fit to my existing pieces and used outdoors for both wildlife camera mounts and security camera mounts to lengthen flexible mounting arms. Very versatile and durable. No problems with threading on any piece.
