I like these but even the XL seem rather small. When my nipples hurt they do seem to make them feel better but I have read you shouldn’t wear them all the time.

Needless to say I couldn’t have breastfed for almost two years without these. I never felt pain and were so easy to clean and maintain. Bonus: would catch excess milk throughout the night and would use it for baby’s skin.

Amazing for at the hospital to use at the get go. Once your milk comes in though you will need to use collection cups instead or put a pad behind these. O rings are worth it to avoid pinching. I would get the off brand ones though if I could do it again.

These were an absolute lifesaver during my first week of breastfeeding. I’m honestly so thankful I bought them before I needed them, because if I’d had to wait for shipping while dealing with sore, sensitive nipples… I would have been a very uncomfortable woman. The relief was almost immediate — like magic, seemingly overnight. They protected, soothed, and gave my body the chance to heal while I figured out breastfeeding. I can’t overstate how transformative they were during those early days. One note for anyone deciding between options: I ordered them with the O-rings, and while I know some people like them for catching milk, I personally found them more comfortable without the rings and ended up removing them. That said, it’s very much a personal preference, and I was glad to have the option to try both. If you’re on the fence or thinking “I’ll see if I need these later,” I’d strongly encourage you to just get them ahead of time. When you need relief, you need it now — not in two days. These are absolutely worth it and something I’d recommend to any breastfeeding parent!!

I’m not one to leave reviews but I had to for these. I’m a first time mom and exclusively pumping, I initially had these on my registry and then removed them because I had seen some people say they were worth the price and others say they weren’t. I shouldn’t have listened to them! I needed these fast as the friction from my nipples rubbing on my shirt was intolerable. I first ordered the regular and then received them and noticed that they were digging into my skin and wished I would have ordered the O rings. So I reordered the XL and with the O ring this time…. Game changer!! Even though it was quite a bit more to get the XL with the O ring, it doesn’t even matter because the relief you feel is worth it. Even if the silver doesn’t heal my nipples, the shield/barrier that it provides is enough to make the price worth it for me.

If you're debating buying these, stop debating. Buy them. Your nipples will thank you. Earth mama nipple butter and silverettes saved me those early weeks of breastfeeding.

Better than nipple gel but can’t wear them out of the house because shape is weird.

I was skeptical and thought the fancy silver nipple cups were gimmicky, but I had such a miserable time nursing my first two newborns I decided to splurge based on the reviews. I’m SO glad I did. My nipples actually healed SO FAST after I started using them and they have made the beginning of my third nursing journey much more manageable. They protect your nips from clothing (allowing for balm moisture and breast milk to really soak in), and silver dressings are used in the medical field for wound treatments. I will buy these as gifts for every expecting mom I know who plans to breastfeed. Note - I definitely feel that the silicone rings are necessary. They keep the cup in place and help prevent breast milk from leaking out of the cup.

I was struggling with very sore and cracked nipples after I had my 2nd baby! I recall with my first being unable to get relief, so I decided to try these this time! They provided immediate relief and within a couple days the cracking was significantly reduced and within a week they were nearly healed!
