I bought this because I needed something for the back spasms. This heats nicely in the microwave and cools after about 20-30 minutes. Long enough to get relief. It’s a good size for travel if your hotel room has a microwave! It’s also well made with a removable cover for washing when needed. I tuck a sachet of lavender inside when heating but you could use essential oils as well.

Love this. Holds heat better than my other microwave heating pads. Love the size and feel of it. Yes it has a slight corn smell but it's not disruptive to feeling relaxed using this fabulous product. I'll be buying another.

This is a great heating pad! I use on my quad before PT and it stays warm for a long time. I’ve even left it on the car dash in the sun and came out to it still bring warm. The cover is very soft and is comfortable on you skin. It’s so easy to put in the microwave and use for sore muscles. I haven’t had any odd smells and the insert with the corn has not broken or split like some of the gel beads have done for me.

Got this for my daughter after her back surgery for her. It works great because of the weight with the nerve pain in her legs and feet! Love that you can take the cover off and wash it. So easy to reheat and it holds the heat for quite a while. It smells like any other corn heat pack. I love the size of it for what we need it for. She’s been using this for a few weeks and it is still holding up great!

In just the first use, I'm happy to say this will be a welcoming new routine to help sooth my older dog's tight back each morning. The bag is about 4 pounds, so at first I thought the weight of the pad was going to be uncomfortable for my pup. I also wasn't sure how well it would heat up or stay warm. However, after 2 rounds of 30 seconds in the microwave, the pad is nice and warm but can be safely removed and held. You can shake the bag up between microwaving rounds to even out the heat. I applied the pad across my dog's back, and within a few minutes he was fast asleep. I'm really hopeful this will help relieve some persistent knots he gets along his spine. I did not notice any smell from the bag after heating. I also appreciate that this is made in the USA, and that the cover is soft and a nice sage green color.

I have always made my own using white rice as a filler with denim or thick fabric. I realized I was is quick need of a new clean one because I was having knee replacement & would not have time to sew. This came quickly and I love the fact there is the most wonderful, green velvety soft cover that can be washed and protect the inside bag from getting wet or damaged. I think itis durable will hold up as well as my hand made rice bags. The smell faded quickly and even though instructions say not to use oils, I am a DoTerra Essential Oil user so put lavender on the outside cover and have not had a problem. I love this corn baby & appreciate the fact it is from a Mother/Son business in the USA. Thank you so much! Quick & easy to use - perfect size - very well made - and even though I use an ice machine for the recovery, I like the fact it is versatile and can be used as an ice pack as well. Thank you! Great for warmth & pain. Especially for tucking in bed. The removable cover for washing is a bonus. Well made.

I love this heating pad. I had bought a rice one and threw it away after a few uses because it burned easily. I bought the Iowa Corn Baby and it’s perfect for me. I like the weight and I really like the smell. It faintly smells like movie pop corn. It’s soft, cute. And retains heat well.
