## Description

Pure, round-grain silica sand from Wisconsin, USA for foundry or other demanding industrial uses (sand core, greensand, etc). Kiln-dried, high purity (low-clay and mineral contamination) for very high temp uses.  Color matching: Due to the natural origin of this product, colors may vary from brown to a moderate tan/white depending on the batch. The photos show "worst case" contamination (most brown/yellow tint possible). Generally, product will be at least slightly more neutral (white) tint than photos.  Note on texture/fineness: this product is considerably more fine than what most consumers are used to. Compared to anything available in home centers, this will almost seems like powder.  IMPORTANT: NOT FOR USE AS SANDBLASTING MEDIA.

**Q: Can you use this to dry flowers?**
A: No, this is not a recommended application for this product. I suspect you are looking for silica gel which is not the same as silica sand. Good luck.

**Q: Is this appropriate for a gas fireplace**
A: No, too fine!

**Q: Is this dry fine silica sand? i need to use it for filling a crack with roadware 10 minute concrete mender expoy**
A: Yes, extremely fine.  You might use more that you think because it keeps flowing into the crack!  I used to fill saw cuts in my garage concrete slab before finishing with an epoxy flake coat and it worked perfectly, but I used more than I expected!

**Q: Would this be good to use for small a Golf bunker?**
A: Based on the information we have available to us, typical sand used for golf bunkers should be somewhere between 20-60 mesh and angular grain. This is 120 mesh so it would be way too fine.
