nice upgrade from fluorescent
These are pretty nice and work great as a replacement for 48 inch fluorescent lamps. They are adjustable in color temp and in wattage. Makes it easy to adjust to your preference for whatever room you put them in. I installed 8 of them in our garage 4 years ago. No problems !

Very Very Bright
I bought these to replace the el cheapo florescent fixtures in my basement. The installation was very easy. The Mfr provides the wiring nuts and terminal blocks for the electrical connections. I was very impressed with the build quality of the fixture. The way in which the diffuser attaches to the frame is far superior to other fixtures I've used, allowing you to remove and attach the diffuser without fear of cracking or breaking. The light itself is a lot brighter than the 40W fixture it replaced. These lights are definitely worth what I paid for them.

Bright, good quality, easy to wire, the light covers are solid
These lights are bright and the covers are solid. A perfect replacement for cfl tube bulb lights with ballasts. They were easy to hang and wire and you can pop the little round ends out and run wires between them to daisy chain them easily. Im actually going to buy more of them to add even more light to my garage so I would absolutely buy them again!

Huge upgrade from the old CFLs
After years of having our cars complain about their living conditions, we decided it was time to clean up the garage. So after having the floor professionally ground & coated, putting in spiffy metal cabinets, building new steps & landing, trimming out windows & doors, and applying new paint, it was time to upgrade the lighting so we could actually see something at night. These fixtures sounded pretty good at 4,000 lumens each, so I decided to purchase 8 of them to cover our 670 sq ft garage. With the new motif being grays with Dewalt yellow & black highlights, I thought painting the lights might be fun, so the plain old white became yellow & black as shown in the attached photo. Overall, I like the fixtures. At $20 per, it's hard to argue with the price... although I've only owned them a week and the price for a set of four has now dropped by $10. But that's the luck of the draw with Amazon... prices change. Even so, you get a decent fixture for the money... the main body is metal with the two ends and the diffusing grid made out of plastic, and of course there are two strips of LEDs stuck to the inside of the body with a small power supply in there as well so they can be powered from 120 VAC. They are extremely lightweight and somewhat flexible, but mounting them with a single screw in each end makes them nice and stable. One little oddity is that the plastic ends have two screws placed in the bottom attaching them to the body... but you really need to remove one end to be able to remove the defusing grid so you can mount the fixture, and then once mounted there's no way to get those little screws back in. Fortunately, the ends also "snap" into the body to hold them in place, so there's really no need to put the screws back in. It's just a little odd to have put those screws where they are. Wiring is straightforward. I added a little plastic insert in the standard sized hole provided in the metal body since running wires through a hole in metal is a no-no, although it's pretty low risk. Wire nutting and taping connections on fairly short wires while suspending a 46" fixture a couple of inches from the ceiling is always fun, especially when working on a 13' ceiling on a step ladder, but the trick is to bend a little hook end on the ground wire emanating from the ceiling electrical box so you can hang the fixture from that while connecting hot & neutral, and then letting the fixture hang from those connections to hook up the ground. I mounted the lights using a metal drywall anchor in each end and a single screw in the electrical box, after aligning the lights precisely using my trusty Dewalt laser. Since the fixtures have four little "feet" that are part of the body and extend a tad over 1/8" beyond the main part of the body, I found it was best to place a 2"x2" piece of 1/8" hardboard with a hole drilled in the center as a spacer under each end so that I could tighten the anchor screws without overly bending the body. The only improvement I could suggest would be to offer a version that has double the number of LEDs inside (e.g., four strips rather than two)… along with a properly sized power supply. Although these lights are decent and bright enough to cast a fair amount of light from 13' up, having an option for maybe another $10 each or so to get 8,000 lumens out of each one given all the effort it takes to install a 4" box, run wiring in a dusty attic, and mount and connect each of these things would be pretty nice. That said, bottom line: I like them, especially in yellow & black! That night be another option to consider.

Incredibly bright
Installed these for a room dedicated as a home food processing facility. Lots and lots of light, had to turn down to the dimmest setting and it's still very bright. The fixture itself is inexpensively made with thin metal and you do need to take care in manipulating the lens to prevent damage, but the upside to this is being lightweight the fixture can mount to a ceiling box alone without requiring additional support anchors, making installation as easy as that of a dome fixture. The power module on one of the fixtures was loose, but it was very easy to secure it in place by manipulating the metal mounting tabs. All four fixtures look good and function. There are no replaceable components, typical of modern LED lighting, so expect to replace the fixture if the electronics fail. Be wary of the product photos that demonstrate light temperature settings as they implicate an exterior installation. This fixture is not designed for wet locations.

Excellent value, easy and versatile installation
They have made some small changes in these lights since I purchased some a couple of years ago. They are much better now, and they have taken measures to allow you to run additional wire without casting shadows. They’re excellent lighting. They could make a couple more improvements, but I have no complaints, and I highly recommend them.

The best replacement for florescent lights
The first time I purchased and mounted this, I tried to guess my way through. A mistake. The instructions really did help make the job easier. I've moved into a 50 year old property where my electrician dad put florscent lights all over the place. After spending about 4 hours trying to make these work (including buying bulbs that are now obsolete), I followed my electrian brother's advice, am slowly decommissioning all of those and replacing them with these. What a difference! A FRACTION of the weight of the old flourscent fixtures wiith their ballasts - I can easily mount these by myself - and much brighter. Plus, the savings on electricity makes this a no brainer. I'm now on my third set. One note: the 2nd and 3rd set I got are structured differently than the first set, which I liked the best. However, they look the same on the outside, and since most of my usage is utility, it's ok with me.

Real customer service for a change!
My first order arrived damaged from shipping, likely no fault to the seller. I called the number on the product insert in the evening US West coast time and a real person answered the phone! I explained the damage, texted pictures, and was immediately informed that they would ship a replacement order that should arrive in 5 - 7 days. The replacement units arrived in 5 days. I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service. The lights themselves are a good buy for the price and fairly easy to install. I was using these to replace fluorescent lights in a fellowship hall. Even on the lowest setting for brightness they are much brighter than the old lights so they worked prefect for this application. I did have to cover the wiring with white tape as mentioned in earlier reviews so they weren't highly visible when the lights were on. I was very pleased with the first set of four lights so I bought another four boxes to complete the project.
