Giving review after 15 days of usage Camera is good.. good visibility..ir vision is also good but needs some improvement.

I’ve been using the CP Plus ezyKam EQ25 wireless camera, and honestly, the experience with SD card recordings has been very frustrating. The biggest issue is the video format saved on the memory card. The files are stored in a format that is not supported by common media players. I tried opening them on both macOS (Mac M1) and Windows, using players like VLC and other software, but nothing works. This makes the SD card recordings practically unusable outside the camera’s own system. Another major problem is storage handling. Once the SD card becomes full, the camera simply stops recording instead of overwriting old footage. This defeats the whole purpose of having continuous surveillance, as you have to manually clear the storage every time it fills up. It becomes an unnecessary hassle and reduces reliability. Overall, while the camera may work for basic monitoring through its app, the SD card functionality is poorly implemented. Lack of playback support and no automatic overwrite make it inconvenient and not user-friendly. **Cons:** * Unsupported / unreadable video format on SD card * Files don’t play on Mac or Windows (even with VLC) * No loop recording (does not overwrite old footage) * Manual intervention required when storage is full **Verdict:** Not recommended if you rely on SD card recording for backup or offline access. The limitations make it impractical for regular use.

Updated review: Return request completed successfully. Replacement camera works fine. No issues at all. Thank you Amazon. Earlier: The camera doesn't connect to wifi after multiple tries with multiple wifi options. There is no replacement option. Amazon chat assistant directs me to the company website in the end. I need a replacement camera. This one is surely defective.

Please don't buy...functionality wise it's the worst...I have used other smart cameras before of hikvision nad they r better at functionality. First day itself it has issues connecting over wifi. Plus motion detection doesn't work as and when wanted...even when turned off..it gives unexpected result when you turn on and off functionalities and one cannot be sure if it has actually turned off or not.also the plaback is worst....u have to manually play the recording .

It also integrates well with Google Assistant. Cons: Requires a very strong Wi-Fi signal if the camera is placed far from the router.
