outstanding 5mm pigtails
I've got a few accessories here that use 5mm barrels but they can sometimes draw a lot of power at 12vdc. The cords they come with use skinny wire and there's a significant voltage drop at over 3 amps, which reduces the power to my accessories, such as a 60w USB-C power adapter, so it charges slower than it should. So I was looking for a replacement cord/barrel. None of the 5mm ends I found worked well, but these cables are great. The cable is rated 15 amps, and claims #16 wire. I think it may be a little thicker than #16. I was very impressed with how well it works even up at 10 amps. The connector is well-attached and has a sturdy strain relief. The wire end came with the jacket cut back a bit, with the wires stripped and tinned - nice touch. The cable and the barrel were both cool to the touch even after 5 minutes at 10 amps, which surprised me. Also the pin contact inside the barrel is the "fork" variety, not "sleeve", so it gets good contact on 2.0mm as well as 2.5mm pins, which saves me the headache of needing to keep multiple cords on hand. I buy a lot from Amazon, and this is one of the best quality items I've seen recently. I know I'll be buying more of these in the near future.

Quality cable if/when you get the correct one.
I ordered the 2.5 x 5.5 mm cables, and like others have said they sent the wrong ones (2.1 x 5.5). Fortunately it was easy to correct. Amazon lets you order a replacement and gives you some time to return the incorrect ones. So I took a picture and you can see that they are not the same. The black plastic around the center hole is a different thickness. Anyway they now fit my batteries quite well and seem heavy duty compared to most such plugs and cables. If you have a good drill index that is one way to check the size. 2.1 mm = 0.083" and 2.5 mm = 0.098".

Heavy Gauge Wire and Good Plug Fit - Used To Power A Mini-PC
Heavy gauge wire. Used it with a 12VDC to 19VDC step-up transformer to power my Mini-PC from a car battery - no need for UPS. FYI Mini-PC only draws about 50 watts peak so it will run off the battery a looong time.
