Bondo Professional Gold Filler, 00233, 1 Quart

I have worked with other bondo products in the past, for cars, but this time I had some holes in the basement floor to patch. the holes were those small divots you get when you take out a wall, and its in a utility room so I want to be able to paint the floor. I applied this and it did take two layers on the deeper holes but really worked well. we then used some to coat a prop my son is making for a convention, and it really worked well for that too. maybe someday I will try it on a car :) its easy to mix, set up time is fast enough with out being too fast to work on unusual stuff. just mix up small amounts at a time. if you have not worked with a bondo before, start with a small amount and add to it as it dries or you move to other areas. once you get used to it you can work larger. it sands easy if you work at it right when it dries, its harder to sand if you wait a few days and get back to it. this was cheaper than the floor repair kits and I hear it takes paint well, and the floor repair stuff does not. we will see when I paint it.

I purchased this product to fix a rust-hole that was on my car. It worked very well in fixing the problem. This product is relatively fast drying, which can be a positive or a negative. It is easy to sand and to form especially if you use it in small layers. Do not use thick layers because it will try to run and make a mess. The lid was nice because you can mix the bondo in it. This helped to make my wheel well on my car like new.Most of it had rusted off along the edge. I used this in combination 3M mesh patches. The only thing is you have to work quickly as it hardens fast. It can be a little difficult to spread for a first time user. There was a lot of sanding. Preparation is also key though. You need to make sure you really remove any rust off a car first. I also used rust reformer and a professional grade rust remover and sealed it with an automotive paint and clear coat.

This product is the best in class. Recently I had the misfortune to repair one of my sculptures that was damaged in transit. I tried many of the usual methods available to fix the cracks and all of them left hairline cracks after they hardened. Then it came to me like a revelation from heaven above. Auto repair folks use Bondo to repair dents and holes in cars. The repairs were so good that it was nearly impossible to see the repair. Given this bit of experience I tried Bondo on my sculpture and to my excitement the cracks were gone. The only issue for me is the short time one has to work with this product. It hardens quickly and as a result one must work fast!

Got what I expected...a nice new can of Bondo, which came with activation paste. This professional gold product seems smooth to me. Is it just good marketing? Perhaps... however, after several applications I prefer professional gold to regular Bondo. Easy mixing and application, product not stale at all. Arrived on time, reasonable price. Will buy again, next time I run out.

This works great for filling in holes on wood siding before painting. I also used it on my car to remove minor dents and dings before painting. Unfortunately, the tube of hardener included with the product is much too small. I had to visit a store and buy some more. It was relatively expensive and I found myself wishing I had bought another brand of body filler that came with an adequate amount of hardner.

I bought this to fill damage to my very old car. Did work for me and just make sure you sand it down for eveness

Our son and I ordered it and used it for repairing a bumper damage on our relatively new car. This was our first such project and the Bondo played a significant role in the success of it. Well, the project hit some road bumps and challenges; however, the Bondo did its job fine. We plan to finish our project soon (successfully) and recommend this Bondo.

Buy it somewhere else, you will get twice as much. Literally the smallest can they sell. That’s why the pictures are blurry and the item weights don’t correspond with each other.

Used it to patch over and fill knots on pine treads of stairs. Worked great.. just remember to use plastic applicators

Works like it should, just remember to shake and knead the small bottle of hardener first. Mine separated in the bottle and splattered all over.

fills very well, sands smooth with little effort. Will buy again.

Got the kit but no spreader. I like the Bondo products use them all the time. Just not happy about missing tools
