We did not run the lights often as the haologens become extremely hot and also use a lot of electricity. I was concerned that these might not fit the fixture but as you can see from the photos, they are a perfect fit.The bulbs produce a warm light and the brightness is just right. I do not care for the bright white lights as they often have a blue color hue which I find off-putting and not pleasing to look at. These bulbs produce just the kind of light I was hoping for.Delivery was very fast. Ordered on Saturday and they arrived Sunday afternoon.Only one things concerns me and that is that the literature that came with the bulbs states that they are not intended to be used in an enclosed fixture.. well, that's what uplights are... enclosed fixtures. They mention heat buildup and possible failure of the bulbs. Other LED bulbs I have used produce very little heat so maybe this will not be an issue. We shall see. I did not give this a five star rating due to the caution about using the bulbs in an enclosed fixture. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked well after we adapted the original halogen fixture to for the larger diameter LED bulbs. *by P***C on Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2017* The R7S Base LED J118 LED 10W 120V bulbs in Warm White... worked well after we adapted the original halogen fixture to LED use. The 10 watt LED bulbs substitute for a ~75 watt halogen but we probably need a 15 or 20 watt LED to replace the original 100 watt Halogen bulb. These bulbs put out a pleasant warm white as described.Since these bulb havea substantially larger diameter than pencil-thickness Halogen stick bulbs, we had to remove the polished light/heat reflector from the fixture (in this case a fan light head) to make room for the much larger diameter LED light cylinders (R7S Base LED J118 LED 10W 120V) bulbs.Modification was - simply removal of two screws holding the Halogen reflector and then the reflector. Also a slight outward bending of the original halogen connectors. This mod is typical of all Halogen light fixtures. Since the LED bulbs burn significantly cooler than the original Halogen bulbs, the heat shield is not needed. We may paint the interior of the light fixture well white or silver, or apply some aluminum tape to increase downward reflected LED light. Please see modification photos. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good color temperature and brightness, excellent low wattage alternative to halogen lamp. *by J***F on Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2018* Main bathroom of my house had five sconce type fixtures with 100W halogen lamps. I didn't like using 500W of electricity every time the bathroom light was on so I bought these as a replacement. They work well but the package size meant they were a tight fit and rubbed against the protective screens that keep things from falling on the hot halogen bulbs. Those screens are no longer needed so I removed them, problem solved.
