Excellent for Making a Handrail
I used these top rail ends with an 8 foot long 1 & 5/8 inch post, secured to 2, 2 & 3/8 corner posts to make a handrail on our slope in the back of our house. Attaching the rail ends with 2 3/8 tension bands to the corner posts works perfectly, it's very strong and sturdy using the thicker 1 & 5/8 inch post for the handrail. These rail ends look to be of good quality to endure the outside elements. I recommend these.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Items seemed to be good quality. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size and had to return.

These worked well for the project I was completing.

Repairs or upgrades chain link fence
I needed to repair a 1 5/8" chain link fence so these fence rail ends came in handy. These fence rail ends tie the top of the fence together and make it stronger. I plan on sandwiching the top of this rail end in between 2 2x4 or 2x6 with galvanized bolts holding them together then putting a top rail on to give that custom look for a chain link fence. These rail ends are built sturdier then the ones at the big box stores except the top of these have 1 spot weld holding top together. (Look at my picture for reference). Other than that I definitely recommend as I will be purchasing more to complete my fence project.

Unexpectedly perfect!!!!
Arrived within 12 hours (such a surprise). I was looking for the rounded edged cap similar to the ones I usually buy at the dealer. Had planned to cut off the end and drill a hole in order to put it on my post. However, once I saw how big the tail was I tried it on a fence clasp bracket. IT WORKED!!! Very happy with this product. I'll post more pictures here later...ok 😊
