Review: Tastes disgusting, works the best. - We laugh that this tastes like brackish water but my daughter needs rehydration salts for a medical condition. Her doctor first recommended this and we add Young Life essential oil drink drops to it. She can actually feel the difference between brands and this seems to work the most efficiently and last the longest in her system. We like that longterm she's not ingesting any flavours or colours and is calibrated and tested unlike other products with similar claims. It's easy to carry and if she doesn't have a flavour enhancer, she just chugs it down. We haven't tried their flavoured products.

I have found it dissolves more quickly if I use a couple teaspoons of slightly warm water at the start and then add colder water to finish.

**Q: What's the difference between trioral and NormaLyte?**
A: With reviews on Trioral like, "If you drink this you're not human", "tastes worse than ocean water", and "would die before drinking" it's safe to say that people often do not find Trioral palatable.  NormaLyte uses a proprietary blend that uses less sugar and sodium in each stick in order to be more palatable and easier on the stomach while still using the World Health Organization's formula.  PURE NormaLyte contains no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives, and no colors/dyes.  We also have flavored options like grape, green apple, and orange for. those who want something more flavorful.

**Q: How many grams of sugar? My husband is diabetec and I'd like him to try this product but it does not specify the sugar sources or carb sources**
A: NormaLyte contains 7 grams of sugar per stick.  For oral rehydration, glucose facilitates the absorption of sodium (and hence water!).  It takes a 1:1 ratio to work.  One molecule of glucose to one molecule of sodium go together in your small intestine to hydrate you through the sodium glucose cotransport system.

These electrolytes really work! My doctor told me to use electrolytes to help with fatigue. I was skeptical but they genuinely help with my energy levels. I can’t stand stevia and these have none. The taste is slightly sweet and slightly salty. Also most electrolytes I’ve tried make my stomach hurt, so if you have a sensitive stomach like me, and also hate stevia, then give these a try.
