This has been the best purchase I've made for my garage and completely transformed it from bearly lit to very bright. Brightness and color: Based on other reviews I was worried the lights might be too bright and that the light color would be too white. I recommend plugging a single light strip into the wall to get a sense of the brightness and color. Even after doing this I was a little worried but was more than happy with it in the end. It is bright and the light is white but not overly so. For me, I use my garage as a partial work shop and for parking my cars and the fact that I can see everything on every shelf clearly without needing a flashlight anymore is amazing. So for my needs it's the perfect brightness. Note: The lights are brighter then they appear in the picture, my phone camera adjusted to the lights by making the rest of the image darker. DIY Design: This was fun! I didn't want to have two separate sets of hexagons along each side of my garage, I wanted a design that was more interesting. I also only wanted to plug in on one side so I needed continuity in light strips (one power cable has a limit of about 70 light strips according to the instructions). I also didn't want to plug in to my ceiling outlet with the power cable showing; I wanted to hide the cable. After hours of sketch-up designs I decided on the design you see in the picture that I'm really happy with (44 light strips - two boxes of 25 light strips). Installation: Installing the light strips and related corner connectors was really easy. They're very light weight and have just the right amount of play in the plastic while staying a snug fit when connected. I ended up buying drywall screws from Home Depot and carefully drilled those in to the drywall (with a very small pilot hole from a drill bit). The lights come with screws and anchors but I didn't want to drill big holes for each of the anchors and spend the extra time setting them in place. The screws that come with the lights are good for using with the anchors but not as good if you plan to use them without the anchors directly in dry wall as their thread isn't really made for application into the drywall directly. Other reviews have mentioned they've done this and because the lights are so light weight they haven't had issue, but I wanted the lights to be more secure. I hand tightened the drywall screws and was careful not to overtighten. Getting the lights all perfectly aligned without a laser level was not easy and required re-drilling and moving 4-5 anchors but that was also not difficult. The hardest part for me was rerouting the 14 gauge conduit from the already existing garage light switch to the hex lights. What made this hard was finding the existing conduit in the attic, pulling it out of the wall space, connecting it to additional conduit so it would reach the power cable for the hex lights. This required 2 junction boxes which are not super easy to connect in an attic space. But this part of the installation will vary based on your setup. My goal was to limit the visible power cable (see the added picture). Overall: I love them!

WOW! Ordered the 6-pack but only set up 3 for now. It is SO bright, probably too bright for indoors. I wanted to refrain from drilling into the walls, so just used 3M command strips at each of the connection pieces and it’s working like a charm. Simple set up. Love that you can reconfigure the pieces whenever you feel like it. The power strip doesn’t have an on/off button so I attached it to a powerstrip that does. Great lighting for our home gym.

These lights are amazing. Super bright and easy to install. Makes your car look trick in the light. I used some 1 1/2 inch wood screws to attach to the ceiling. Put it together in two pieces to make sure how it worked. Wished it had a little longer cord but that's no big deal. I will be buying more of them for sure. These are much better than those screw in 5 ways lights.

Well designed. For once, a product that is well designed. Very easy to install. Installed one 25 pack and was so impressed, I purchased another. Has changed my garage from daylight operations to a scene out of Close Encounters. There is so much light in the garage. I also appreciated that the vendor included two plugs. Since I had some leftovers, I installed another "hexagon" leading into the house, wired it to a plug with a remote control. Rarely do I write reviews but this is one that I had to write. Well Done EZHOME.

Very nice quality and product in general is a value for money: bright, functional, easy to install. I bought 2 set of 25 already.

Love these lights, made my garage look so bright and very modern. Installation was not that difficult.....once you figure out which design you would like. After some time figuring out how to install them, finding the center was the hardest part. Just assemble one hexagon, find the center, mark the lines and go from there, once that part was done, it was a breeze. One issue is how cheap they feel but I think it is due to their design which you don't want to be too hard as they will crack. Really love the lights. Hopefully these lights will last, if they don't I can always update this review. ;)

I needed additional lighting for the gym side of my garage as the existing LED tube lights were ok but just not enough light for working out. While these lights are aesthetically pleasing, they are also bright, I mean "daylight" bright! They are lightweight and "fairly easy to install” just lay out your design first and have a plan. I was able to design mine around the existing tube light fixture and the installation came out looking really nice. I loosely installed the design to my ceiling and after they were all up, I came back and laser aligned the layout and I'm very happy. For the finishing touch, I direct- wired my lights by extracting power from the garage door opener's ceiling receptacle and installed a remote wireless wall switch on a wall and installed and the accompanying sensor in a junction box in the attic. This allows me to use them separately from my existing tube lights as I will only use the hexagonal lights when working out. The customer service for these lights is like no other. When the lights arrived, I was short a few of the corner connectors and the direct-wire cable. The lights came with enough of the 3-way connectors and a plug-in cable for me to go ahead and install the light temporarily. I emailed their customer service and not only did they reply promptly, but they also shipped the missing pieces with no questions asked. They were very courteous and understanding. Typically and sometimes dealing with customer service can be a pain, but in this case my experience was the opposite. They would respond the same day and resolved my issues right away. As for an overall experience, I would highly recommend these lights and their excellent customer service.

I brought 2 sets and combined to make one big set. Ended up one hexagon short but still looks amazing and brightest up what once was a very dark area. I contacted the seller with a question and they were very quick to respond and did what they can to help.

I bought three of these and they were great. On the third order, some of the parts were missing. Inside the package was a leaflet that said if there were any issues to contact them directly, and I did. They responded within a few hours and had my parts sent to me via UPS. These lights go together easily and work great. Nice and bright while being lightweight, which is a big plus. I'm mounting them to OSB, but if you have drywall, these are great as they require very little to support them. I like them enough that I'll likely buy a few more in the coming months!

Assembled and tested this 5 hexagon light fixture. Works great and is very very bright. Pictures don't do it justice, it's like the sun is in the room. Nice white color temperature, I believe 5k, so it's not as harsh as some of the 6500s can be 2 power cord included, i for wall plug in that's about 5 feet long and 1 pigtail cord for direct wire. Came with a few extra pieces, couple corner connectors, 1 light tube, mounting hardware for drywall. Recommend mounting this to a light metal grid/panel or thin board and then attach panel to ceiling using a few screws into joists, otherwise you're drilling a ton of holes in the ceiling. Left it outside for 3 hours at -30C and plugged it in after that, instant light, no flickering and no warm up time, worked great. The large foot print and style of led tube means that there are almost no shadows when working under it which is very nice. Can mount on sidewalls instead of ceiling as well for side lighting. Whole thing is light weight so it can be hung with zip ties as well. New tubes/ connectors can be added later or swapped around to make different shapes.
