     I tried to install this on a lightweight closet door that wouldn’t shut all the way and it would kind of bounce open… when I installed it, the latches were not sturdy enough to keep the door completely shut/flesh with the wall and they bent out of shape. If something strong is needed, this probably isn’t for you.
