Do I need more adhesive, or just the dashboard pad?** A: I have the same problem when the inside temperature got too hot, the VHB on the disc fell off of the dash. After reading quite a few reviews that reported this issue, I have been looking for the air vent holder for this model, I haven’t found one yet. I may just purchase the holder that comes with the vent attachment in the box. However, I am going to try a clear adhesive for the dashboard mount hoping it will hold. If the clear adhesive doesn’t work, the air vent attachment seems to be the last option. Just be aware that I have no idea if this adhesive will hold the round disc to the dash in hot or cold temperatures. The only downside, is the suction cup. This really isn't a problem with the product itself, but instead how we use them. We stick them to the windshield and leave them, forever. Full sun and heat in the summer, freezing temps in the winter. It takes a toll on the suction cup. After 2-3 years the cup becomes a sticky goo and needs to be replaced. No huge deal. You can replace just the suction cup and arm for about half the price of the whole mount. totally worth it every 2-3 years to have your phone locked securely during that time.
