I needed to get one of these plastic toy things for my PC because I was playtesting a game that demanded a controller. I hate controllers. They're an awful way to play games. The thumbsticks are horribly imprecise, and your shoulders are all hunched up, so you get back ache. Give me a mouse and a keyboard ANY day. However, I have had a few controllers over the years, mainly because I feel I have to have one to be "a gamer"... But I don't tend to use them. I've had a logitech wingman, a SNES-shaped one, a Logitech F-170 which was utter garbage (a shame), a Retrobit Legacy 16 and an XBox controller. Plus, of course, the controllers with the SNES, Atari 2600 and PS1 and PS2. So, although I hate the blasted things, at least I've had some experience with them. The Xbox controller was the most recent addition. I got it for my son to play GRIP Racing on his laptop. He kinda likes it, but he's got used to WASD+Mouse too, so finds the controller a bit restrictive. So I ended up playing with his XBox controller. I quite liked it. It had a weight to it, and the buttons had a positivity to them. So, when I had to get one for my laptop for this plaaytesting I thought I'd try to go "top of the line" and get an Elite 2. Well, I can confirm, it feels pretty darn good. although it's the same hand-crampy shape and size of a usual controller, it's really hefty. It feels solid, not plasticcy at all. The grips are grippy, and the magnetic snap-on thumbsticks and d-pad are lush to look at. Being able to adjust the force of the buttons is a lovely feature. I've set them to "middle" which feels good for me. The Core edition doesn't come with the back-paddles, but they can be bought separately for £9 (get the metallic ones!). I have to admit I'm very impressed with it. Aiming is still an absolute shambles, but that's a problem with trying to use a thumbstick. The buttons and controls otherwise feel really solid. It screams quality. I can see why it's more expensive than the standard controller. Given the magnets and snap-on configurability of it, I can see why it's as expensive as it is. It's a nice piece of well-engineered kit. It'll never replace a Kbd+Mouse for me, but if I have to play a game with a controller, I'm playing it with this! Nothing else comes close!

Received in super quick time. Excellent controller and a noticeable difference to the “Stock” controller, rechargeable wireless very grippy and responsive controller. Great price too compared to other stockist.

Brilliant. You pay for what you get you can pay for the 60-70quid knock off elite controller but you will end up buying cheap buy twice as they have little durability this you can tell is made with long term purpose

Easy to use, connectivity is reliable. Son loves it and says the game play is great with grips etc.

Excellent controller. This is my second one but the last one lasted 4 years with serious play!

Controller has got stick drift after just over one month of usage. Amazon then pushes a repair to be sent via Royal Mail who don't give a label for collection and then refuse to collect! I'm having a total nightmare with this to be honest! Would not recommend!

Not had it a great deal of time, about a week, so can't speak for the longevity of it, I'll update my review if I have any issues, but so far, very happy with it. Feels good and chunky in the hands, might be a little too chunky for some folks but perfect for my big hands, nice smooth premium feeling plastic and the grips feel great. Got some paddles with it, not sure about those. I use them in calm parts of a game but tend to revert back to the buttons during a fight. Also they seem to hurt my tendons up my arms and fingers, but not sure if that's just me (I'm getting on a bit these days!). I can't see me using the paddles long term to be honest, but I'll persevere; I like the idea of them. Battery life is good, thumbsticks feel great, might buy some bigger ones at some point, see if they make a difference. All in all, very pleased. Expensive, but not insanely so (have you seen the price of the PS equivalent? 😳) Glad I splurged.

Premetto che ho avuto il controller Elite 2 che ora riposa in pace 😭 Ho acquistato questo controller dato che costa molto meno dell'Elite 2 perché privo di accessori come le levette intercambiabili il tasto D-pad a croce mancante, la custodia, il caricabatterie e la chiave per la regolazione delle levette superiori. Hanno aggiunto la possibilità di cambiare colore al tasto Home e poi .....nulla di più. Il costo degli accessori è improponibile se comprate quello ufficiale Microsoft, c'è ne sono a metà prezzo commerciali e fatti molto bene. Di per se il controller è perfetto nella sua esecuzione e fa quello che dovrebbe fare dato anche il prezzo oltre le 100 euro. Collegabile anche su PC. N.B. La batteria interna dura veramente poco anche se si esclude la vibrazione, appena 18 ore e poi subito in ricarica. Aggiornamento: Il tasto RB ha smesso di funzionare dopo appena 4 mesi. Premesso che il controller non è MAI caduto e ha una pulizia giornaliera maniacale. Avviato il reso con rimborso arriva la sorpresa. Spedito con DHL il 28 luglio il controller arriva a Milano. Da qui dovrebbe partire per l'Inghilterra, sede del venditore. Ma....si sono persi gli aggiornamenti del transito. Contattato il centro assistenza Amazon risponde che, dopo l'arrivo a Milano non è più possibile tracciare la spedizione...bene....dovrò attendere almeno 15 giorni per avere la certezza che il prodotto sia finito dal venditore e altri 15 giorni per il rimborso...assurdo. in pratica i miei soldi come tutti quelli che sono fermi in attesa di rimborsi fanno cassa nella banca del venditore. Assurdo il fatto che il pacco non possa essere visionato (cioè che ci sia realmente il prodotto reso all'interno) da Amazon Italia così da sveltire le pratiche di rimborso. La prossima volta pagherò con PayPal così mi rimborsano immediatamente e poi se la vedranno loro con il venditore. Amazon vacilla....

Everything great about the regular Elite 2 controller but at a much friendlier entry point. Costs are down due to omission of back paddles, additional sticks & carrying case, but that's the only thing different between the 2 models (except for the much-better-looking two-tone color finish on the Core) - it even has the 3-zone trigger adjustment options like the Elite 2. All other software based tweaks that you can do with the Elite 2, you can adjust with the Core on the Xbox controller app. So you're not really missing any major features. You can purchase all the additional bells & whistles later on; just wait for a discount on those ;-) Alternatively, there are cheaper good quality third-party vendors (Scuff) who provide back paddles & cases too. The Core does come with the stick tension adjuster in the box, so you can tweak that to your liking. Built-in battery means that you no longer have to keep changing AA batteries on low charge, and the battery life is just as good (if not more). Works seamlessly with Xbox One & Xbox Series consoles as well as with PC. Highly recommended for anyone interested in getting a better controller than the one that comes with your Xbox console

Vale cada peso, me ah gustado bastante, la posibilidad de ajustar la dureza de los joystick me ha servido para no lastimar tanto el control en los juegos de peleas. Aunque el tiene tres niveles para este ajuste no está mal.
