Explode the Code 2 1/2: Phonics review and reinforcement

These workbooks are the best! They are like a secret weapon to help kids learn to read. My kids love them, so far they have helped 3 of my kids learn to read. I guarantee I will buy them to help the last kids learn to read too!

I bought this for my daughter as she was struggling with her spelling. Her teacher recommended it. Great product. It helps to build skills and my daughter is improving daily.

I love the Explode The Code Hooke they have help my son with phonics so much. I will be buying more!!

My six year old pointed out that Bliss was missing an additional “S”. Proud that she caught that but embarrassed that a book that’s been around for a while would not have spell checked that. My daughter breezes through explode the code book 1 but needed a little more practice after completing book 2. I’m hopeful book 2 1/2 will have her ready for book 3.

My child loved the quirky sentences and it was the perfect resource for cementing understanding of phonics.

It give that extra help between Explode the code 2 and 3 if your student needs it.

This book has been really helpful to my 6 year old who needs a little help with phonics. My only complaint is that are several spelling errors! Kind of negates the helpfulness of learning phonics when the word is spelled incorrectly.

This was too repetitive from book 2 and didn’t feel it help my child.
