This product is amazing. My curls look very hydrated. I recommend that you watch a video and use exactly the way instructed. I use a tangle teaser brush to make the ribbon curls. I love how my curls are not crunchy and feel really soft. I also bought the curl wow cream and used it before using this produce. It also has little to no smell at all. I have no frizz and it does not leave my hair greasy at all. This is my first time using this product and I can't wait to see how long the curls last without frizz.

This product helps hold my 4C curls! Doesn’t have a big scent, has great shine, but doesn’t make the hair crunchy. Once the hair dries, the volume is great and flowy. Great product.

I am rather impressed with this leave in for curls. My hair which I dye platinum is always super frizzy because of this. But this keeps my frizzies down and when I spray it with water the next morning to revive my curls it looks just as good as the day before. The only drawback I see with this is that it doesn't leave my hair feeling soft but it isn't sticky or crunchy so I just use something else to give it the softness and higher shine. I would actually give it 4.5 stars if they let us do a half star.

I’m a big Color Wow fan. I use several of their products for my curly hair. This product, if used alone, leaves too much frizz and not enough definition to my curls. Even combining it with the Flo-etry, my hair still looks too frizzy. If I combine it with the Dream Coat for Curly Hair, then I get defined curls and less frizz. But if I use the Flo-etry and Dream Coat for Curly hair without this, I get defined curls and reduced frizz. I’m going to play with it for another month and update my review. Currently, I don’t see a need for it unless I am doing it wrong (though I am following CW’s instructions to a T). The smell is coconut-ish and lovely (not too heavy). I don’t see any added shine to my hair with this product alone. I don’t see how anyone with curly hair could use this product alone, unless they have oily hair and little to no frizz naturally. I can use the Dream Coat alone. Maybe expecting Dream Coat miracles out of any other product is my problem 🤣

At first, I was excited about how Curl Wow Shook and Floetry made my curls look—plump and defined. My hair had a a nice curl, and I was optimistic that this would be my new go-to duo. However, as the day wore on, I noticed that my hair started looking dry and frizzy, losing that initial lushness. While the definition was still there, the lack of moisture and shine was disappointing. Unfortunately, the two products alone didn’t provide the hydration my curls need to maintain a soft, glossy look throughout the day. By the next morning, my hair felt even drier, prompting me to tweak my routine. I decided to add a gel as the final step, and that made a noticeable difference—my curls retained their definition but didn’t look as dry. While Curl Wow Shook and Floetry offer great volume and curl enhancement, they don’t seem to provide enough lasting moisture or shine on their own. If your hair tends to get dry, pairing them with an extra hydrating product, like a gel or serum, might be necessary for the best results. UPDATE: I've removed one star from my initial review. While the product does define my curls, it leaves them dry and frizzy—not worth the price. Despite watching YouTube tutorials to ensure I was applying it correctly, the results remained disappointing. There are far more effective products available at a lower cost.

When I say I never leave reviews, I NEVER leave reviews but I just had to. This product is magic. I’m 35 and have superfine thin hair that’s naturally curly. I also experience genetic hair loss and it’s been a really struggle. At one point I stopped wearing my hair down all together. I decided to try shook and I am SHOOK!! I haven’t had this kind of thickness, curl or volume in YEARS. I try curly products all the time and consider myself well versed, but this is next level. I spar it in super liberally on wet hair, finger comb through, and crunch with a microfiber. That’s it. No other products at ALL. It’s soft, moves beautifully, held ALL DAY and has no crunchy cast. I’m now a customer for life. Fine, thin haired curly girls - this is the holy grail! Pic of red hair is with shook, pic in car is what my could looked like at its best for YEARS.

So why do I have to keep shaking this thing? Haven't they heard of emulsifiers? And why is the bottle so hard to hold and spray at the same time? Styling my curls was a lot more work than I'm used to. I usually rake through a serum or gel, then another gel, on wet hair, wet it a little more to distribute, smooth through hair, and then start styling section by section, With this Shook thing? I had to spray it on every section, comb it in etc. I diffused as usual. My hair was soft but it has clumps and frizz. It didn't work. Frankly, I don't know what it did. I don't see the benefit. I used it over the Floetry as directed.

OMG this is the best product i've ever bought for my hair. I have Irish curls and it curled my soft hair. I went to sleep and I woke up with curls. I am so excited
