Schick Hydro Silk Rose Gold 5 Blade Razors for Women, 1 Handle & 2 Refills

So much better than the ugly, plastic blue schick razor of yesteryear. Heavy in the hand. Be careful if you have a aftermarket glazed tub because if you drop it it’s going to leave a mark.

Paid like $15 for this razor. Sure it only comes with 2 cartridges but the price isn’t horrible. I used this after not shaving for probably over a month. It did a pretty decent job. For the amount of hair I had I almost didn't have to change out the head. I only nicked myself twice, which is honestly less than normal for me to be honest. Unfortunately, I will need to buy new cartridges for next time I shave. But overall I would say the razor is pretty decent for the price.

I have used the same (plastic) version of this razor for almost a decade. Felt like I should replace it as the plastic was starting to look cloudy. This one looks nicer and, I hoped, would be more resistant to microbial grossness.However, the metal handle is either too heavy or defectively designed. I have yet to use it without the replaceable blade popping out at least three times, which rarely happened with the plastic version unless I dropped it.I kept trying with this handle, thinking maybe I was shaving too quickly or would eventually get the hang of it. That has not happened, and my return window has closed, so I am writing this in hopes you do not make the same mistake as me and end up depressed about the ensh!ttification of absolutely everything these days.

Over many years I have used the Schick Hydro Sensitive razor but I noticed the last couple years, every time I use a new blade, it felt like there was something in the center ripping my flesh and it is painful. I shave daily and shaving became a pain not only because it's hurt but it would leave bumps and my legs were always dry and itching. Applying lotion to my legs only made it worse. I was so disappointed to find out, every time I changed my razor, this would happen, so I dreaded getting new razors. Then I purchased the rose gold colored razor without the sensitive blades and it doesn't hurt to shave anymore. I'm so glad to have found that it's only the sensitive razors that are doing this to my legs. It's rather unusual a sensitive razor blade is painful while the regular is perfect for my sensitive skin. I'm not sure if others have noticed this difference but in my case, this Rose Gold razor has been a lifesaver.

I love the look and feel of this razor. I will say that it's a little bit heavier than the other plastic ones, but that's to be expected with the difference in materials. I got this one because I loved the look, but mostly bc the handle of the standard version gets gunk and grime in it, and can't be cleaned without crazy effort. This one will eliminate that, all well looking beautiful too.

Overall, this razor is good. It does involve a learning curve. I was used to pressing gently with my old plastic razors, however, pressing on this razor will cause the blade to pop off. The weight of the handle is enough pressure to get a close shave.

Such a cute razor for a girl who loves pink! I love the rose gold/pink look, and the 5 blades give me a nice, smooth shave. My only complaint is the handle feels a little cheap. After dropping it a couple of times, it started separating and eventually broke. I love the razor itself, but I definitely wish the handle was more durable!

Best one yet!Ive always used silk. By far the best!This handle is the greatest and I hope they never get rid of it!

I really like the feel of these and how they glide. Falls off if dropped but I find that with all the razors like this

I first bought the refills of this brand not realizing that they didn't fit on my existing razor. I'm so glad they didn't because I purchased this razor & handle & I've never had a smoother, nicer shave ever!! It's also a very pretty looking razor. I'll never use another brand :) I'm also a very small framed women & I find other razor heads almost too wide for my armpits, but this is just a smidgen narrower & it makes all the difference (y) I would highly recommend this razor to all girls/ladies :)

These were my holy grail razor about 5 years ago. I switched to a different brand after getting a sample in a loot bag, but when I saw these were less expensive I decided to try them again, since I'd loved them so much in the past.The little moisturizing beads along the edges were just as great as I remembered, however the actual razors were not as high quality as I remembered. They were a bit flimsy, and caused a bit of razor burn no matter what I did to prevent it.The moisturizing beads are almost enough to make it worth it, so if you're not super prone to razor burn these could definitely work, and overall would do in a pinch, but I personally won't be buying them again.

I spent a lot of time researching the best female razor and I eventually settled on this one and I’m very glad I did. The difference in quality from the cheaper plastic ones is significant. I get such a smooth and comfortable shave and it’s actually enjoyable to use this razor. It’s very solid and great quality. I will continue to purchase the replacement heads for it. I’m very happy with my choice.

The Schick Hydro Silk razor, this is Schick’s response to the Gillette Venus Ultra Smooth platinum. I feel this razor is almost impossible to cut oneself with compared to the Gillette Venus which has more blade exposure.Pictured are both metal razors and there equivalent plastic versions, both are weighted better but the Schick has a more ergonomic feel when shaving, in addition the Schick handle elevates the razor while the Gillette moisture strip melts and gets stuck to the tub/shower.Both will give an equally smooth shave.I prefer the Schick for its better ergonomic design.The Schick blades last two - three times as long so to me it’s no competition.Pictured with 60’S Gillette double edge and Schick injector.
