It's a good value I suppose, it is made in China, not Japan (to be expected for the price), the threaded rods on mine were not square to the rubber and it causes wobbling, again, it's not an expensive holder, I decided to use head and mechanical force to bend them square since it wasn't worth the gamble to see if a second one would be better.

This stone holder is really well Designed and shows quality in it's material, and how well it's Made, i put my stones in it quickly, and was using it doing some sharping and it stayed solid on my working area, it will hold over an 8 inch in length stone and can be quickly adjusted for a shorted stone. The holder will make using your sharping stones a lot more enjoyable without fighting to keep a moving stone in place.
