Almost everything was great about the window locks except the for silver screws, I'm not understanding the screws, I can only give it 4 stars because I went had to buy white screws. But I would recommend it if you were looking to replace the one you have.

Very smooth mechanism

As another reviewer said, these are perfect and well-made. White paint seems well attached so no scuffing will chip it easily. I can see these remain white for years to come. Again, as another reviewer pointed out- the screws are a huge disappointment. Wow, what happened there? For instance, the stock window locks that I removed had two types of screws- the back ones (closer to the window) were smaller since they suppose to be put on last and they have a side-to-side position adjustment, and the other ones that hold down the main lock mechanism pieces had longer screws with bigger heads. Not the case here- all screws are thicker, and shorter, with the same head diameter. This part is quite annoying, because the pieces that attach closer to the window have clearly smaller holes, so originally they are designed to have screws with a smaller diameter. I also hate that they are not white- stock/oem had matching white/beige screw heads. I am hoping that a dab of white paint on top would fix it. Of course; you really never want to pain over screws, but I think a thin coat of paint could work here. Anyway, I needed to replace the old locks, because they belonged to the previous owner and they were disgusting. These new locks look clean and have refreshed otherwise old windows.
