CRJ 24-Pin ATX Power Supply Jumper Bridge Tool

I bought this to run my power supply without a PC. This jumps your PSU to start without having to plug your PSU to a motherboard. This is the second one I bought and the first one has been working great for over a month.

It works great, was able to boot up my nzxt 800 PSU without a board connection with this.

Used this to fire up the cooling system on my computer, to get the air out, without having to power up the whole computer. These are easy to make but for the price It was easier just to buy this.

I purchased two versions of this one that connected pins 4 and 5, and the other one connected pins 4 and 6... I used the one that connected pins 4 & 5... And that one worked in it supposedly is the correct configuration of this jumper unit. I don't know if the version that connects pins 4 & 6 also works as I didn't test that one. Only saw one forum post saying that it's supposed to be pins 4 & 5. But I saw another article saying that 5 and 6 are both ground, so therefore you could also connect 4 & 6. I did not verify that I can only verify that pins 4 & 5 work with the MSI x670e Carbon Wi-Fi Motherboard. Can you imagine if there was a universal source for this and if this was exactly that standardized, I could only imagine

Works great for tricking PSU into believing that it is plugged into a mother board. I'm using this to power just hard drives and fans inside a rack. This works much better than just shoving a wire into the pins as it needs to stay reliable.

Simple solutions are the best solutions. I am using this to power multiple Corsair, Seasonic, and be quiet! PSU's for various use cases ranging from powering a fan stack exhausting dust generated by my CNC and laser-cutter to fans used in a custom-built Mac Mini mini-rack. Typical exhaust fans are extremely loud, so instead of standard options, I opted to create a fan stack using Noctua and be quiet 120-140mm fans. Using a SATA-powered PWM hub, this connector allows me to keep the hub online and the fans running at full speed during operation of the CNC and laser-cutter. For the custom-built Mac Mini mini-rack, this allows me to run an SFX PSU within the chassis of the rack and draw intake to the base of the Mac Mini, driving exhaust through the backplate at a faster rate.

If you ever have a need to turn on an ATX power supply when it's not installed in a computer, this is so much easier and quicker than jerry-rigging a jumper which might be a long-term reliability issue. Plug this in and you're done. It takes longer to unpack it than to install it.
