Measure from inside of door outwards. If you want to put a door with 1-1/4 offset on with a 16” opening then you’ll need a 18-1/2” door. **Q: Will these adjust to a 5/8 overlay?** A: I think you could make this work. **Q: can the soft close feature be turned off?** A: yes but they will slam shut! just pry out the gray plastic part. **Q: What type of door limiter works with the Ravinite cabinet door hinge?** A: Did not use a "limiter" at all. Not sure what you mean. Replacement was very easy and usually only had to use one hinge per door unless the cabinets were of the tall variety. They seem very sturdy. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons: 1. The doors close very slowly. I’m used to the doors starting to slowly close about 3” from the cabinet frame but these start when the door is about halfway closed. I tried using 1 soft-close hinge and 1 regular but then it closed too quickly for my liking. (See video-left door has 2 soft close, right door has 1 soft close and 1 regular hinge). So I just used 2 on each door. Some other brands have a toggle switch to adjust the speed. These don’t. But for $1/hinge I still think they’re a good product and appreciate that they’re more affordable. 2. The screws to adjust the cabinet door alignment are really hard to turn. I can barely get them to move. I ended up using the screw anchors already in my door. Used a vice grips and drill to get the new ones off. Easy to remove with this method. Overall, I recommend these to anyone who wants to upgrade their hinges.
