    Adequate Light-Duty Mount

Firstly, the photos of this unit on its Amazon page show two different versions of this product: one using U bolts and one with hose clamps.  I received the U bolt version.I have a mobile MFJ antenna that I'm very happy with and I wanted to convert it to home use.  Unfortunately, I found two QC issues with this mount.  One of the treads on one of the U bolts was defective and would not accept any of the provided nuts.  I had to redo the tread.  Good luck if you get the same issue and you don't have the tool to fix it.  Also, the 4 radials would not seat properly in the holes provided.  Tightening the set screws resulted in the radials taking up a crazy pattern instead of a nice "X" pattern.  Worse, even when the screws were fully tightened, it was easy to pull out several of the radials with my fingers.  More finagling required.  I had to spot weld them in place.  Once all of that was out of the way, I quickly mounted my antenna and received several good signal reports.I have a couple of suggestions to the manufacturer: besides fixing the QC issues, I would have gladly paid extra for a pair of pipe "B" or "V" seating clamps to have been added to the kit.  And I would have paid more still for 8 properly seating radials instead of 4.  Think of the QC issues and the clamps as a "must-have" and the extra radials as a "nice-to-have".
