I have purchase 3 sets of these to date, everyone has worked flawlessly, when paired with a good controller you can do just about every color combination imagined. I will end up purchasing more in the future.

Worked Perfect! These were for a 3D printed project using y Creality K2 Plus.

I ordered 7 rolls to add to my Halloween show. Not one dead pixel and they are very bright. They are controlled in groups of 3 leds, not every single led can be a different color. The two sided tape is better than other brands that I have tried but still will not work for outdoor applications. The tape works great for temporarily holding the strip while you Zip Tie it down. Soldering on the half pads when you cut the strips can be a bit tricky but if you take your time it's not too difficult. I will be ordering more for Christmas to make jumping loops.

So far these have been working well. Decent price, items as described, and I haven't really ever had any issues with other BTF products. One note is that the color order seems to actually be GBR and not BGR as stated on the product page, but that's easy to figure out with some experimenting. As expected the sticky tape doesn't do great, but I've paid a lot more LEDs where it didn't stick either.

i used this with a WS2811 controller i built for a different project. This works. The leds are addressed in groups of 3. It works with 5V logic. (i didn't test with 3v logic). There is some spacing between the leds so its not as bright as dense led strip (but that could be a good thing depending on the application.

Bought 1 strip of these lights to test them before diving in for more. I paired them with the SP110E BT controller and a 6amp power supply. The casong that comes on the strip seems really good and thick. Its rated IP67. Once I got the BT contoller to conect to my phone, everything was very simple for that point on. The app was really easy to use. The strips are typical Ws2811 and look good as you would expect. Iam going to be runn9ng this first set a lot prior to buying more

If you follow the requirements (12V, enough Watts for the number of LEDs), this LED strip works great. I've paired it with an Arduino Nano running FastLED and it works perfectly right off of the reel. My project requires me to cut each 3 LED group and solder them back together using 22 AWG solid wires. The wires are bent into very tight corners and I was afraid that the solder pads would come off with the amount of bend I put into them. Using needle nose pliers and tools to guide the bend, none of the connection pads on the strip have come loose. I've also received a full strip with no broken LEDs. Pairing with the Arduino and testing with some example libraries shows how bright and easily programming this strip was. I'll definitely be getting another strip (IP67) for a different project when the time comes.

Update dropped to one star from 2 stars. 9-16-20 After this review the seller/manufacturer contacts me through Amazon all concerned. They ask for photos or video of the issue. So ypon getting my lights I connect the BTF friendly module and a 12v 5A power suppky6 after carefully unspooling the lights onto my desk. I first test any LED lights prior to any installation. Turn the power on and the last three chips to the last three LED lifhrs instantly start smoking. I turn off power and unplug the power from the module. I also have a adjustable 12v 3A power supply and check the lights carefully and set my volts to 5v still 3a. So far good. Then 6vlts and then 7.5v all with a fixed 3A, then 9v all is good. No more smoke and I notice the next 6 LED iights act oddly in some modes. Then 12v as mentioned 3A. Since they ran fine and we are talking 12 affected LED lights at the end. I proceed with my project. The video I posted here is also on my YouTube channel, it shows the two power supplies and the lights working. And the end not working and the shorted 6 lights that act oddly for some modes. I was told that my wrapping the lights caused this, and if that was the case then I voided any warranty. Yet, the seller/manufacturer wants to issue me a refund I remove my review. As I told the person contacting me, keep the money. My review stands. If as stated I caused the damage then why didn't I manage to damage more lights as as installed them? Why are there not more dead or shorted out areas? The lights were laying on my desk when they smoked at the tail end. That video shows that the rest of the lights work. Also shows my studio is surrounded in LED lights. And, my review is mainly to state my set had issues right out of the package, and that earned 2 stars. But, I didn't want to return them because I could work around the last 6 being dead, and the next 6 acting oddly for some modes. The fact I was offered a refund to remove review dropped it by a star. And, if I did cause the damage then I accept 100% responsibility for it. Except, the lights were not wrapped yet when the set shorted out. So, I can't and won't be accepting that accusation. I have replaced modules and power supplies and have yet to have an LED light strip smoke or short out on me in my studio like this set. Also, I fully understand the limitations of the flexible light strips, they are actually very delicate. And, are made up of layers. Thanks Billy who helped me realize I damaged the lights. Original post: added now, and 5A I used these to wrap a 2 inch wood dowel to create about a one foot or so light tube/bar. Do not wrap these around anything much less in diameter, as the strip may have troubles. I am now using a 12vlt DC 3A power supply with adjustable power levels. At 12 volts 5A the far end of the light strip started to smoke instantly. I immediately powered off, and unplugged the power supply. That caused the last three LED lights to not work. I dropped the voltage and saw they would flicker and sometimes work... While the rest of the lights work 100%. I slowly ramped up the power to 12 volts 3A again, and nothing else smoked. However, after about 2 or 3 minutes 3 more LED lights went out, and now do the same thing as the first three... I have been working with LED strip lights long enough to know not to bend them to sharp, or severely. I also understand the power matching requirements to avoid issues. To say I am disappointed in this light strip is an understatement. I will not buy from this seller/manufacturer again, I worry that these will catch fire now after seeing them smoke like that. I would not buy these and can not recommend them to anyone. They are easy as pie to hook up, and install. The tape is typical average light strip tape, I used electrical tape to secure the ends around the wood dowel I used as the mounting surface. Being very careful not to damage the strip or the wiring.

Pour un projet photographique j’ai besoin d’un ruban led adressables individuellement. Je regarde un peu comment fonctionnent les ruban et je trouve que qu’il me faut : des leds WS2812. Aprés recherche, je tombe sur ce ruban qui me semble intéressant :BTF-LIGHTING WS2812B 1m 60leds flexible individuellement adressable bande couleur rêve non-étanche DC5V PCB noir Commande passée à Amazon, livré 2 jours plus tard, produit dans un petit carton et contenu dans un emballage le protégeant de l’humidité. Je le déballe, contenu conforme à la description, je trouve un ruban à LED 1 mètre IP30 60LEDs WS2812B et un connecteur mâle 1x3pin. Je connecte ce ruban à mon petit arduino et une alimentation 5v/3A … je déverse un programme pour tester …. et là … super tout fonctionne très bien. Tel que décrit chaque led est adressable individuellement, vous avec un aperçu de quelques effets sur la vidéo. Par contre, avant de brancher faites bien attention, il n’y a pas de notice, mais il est bien indiqué sur Amazon dans la description : utilisez une tension de DC5V. Au-dessus de 5 V le détruira J’ai pu intégrer ces led à mon installation photo, dans des profilés aluminium … mon mirrorbooth est maintenant terminé. Autre point positif, en cas de doutes ou de questions, la société répond rapidement, ce qui est remarquable.

Habe bereits mehrfach bei BTF bestellt und immer zufrieden. LEDs sind immer wie angegeben. Qualität sehr gut.
