Good lead
Good quality lead. Length is perfect choice for me as it comes with options. It has the protection of a weave type top coat covering which I feel will give it a better durability when being tugged around. Comes with a type c converter to transform use for USB type A. Good charge rate.

Good Quality Charging Cable
Works as it should, made from quality materials, the cable feels sturdy. I bought it for its flat plug (90°) design to prevent cable wear/deterioration as what's happened with all my Apple cables. I also like the USB C to USB standard converter which clicks into place making it a secure fit.

Rubbish - doesn’t work
It worked for about 2 weeks. Now it doesn’t. Cheap and nasty and not fit for purpose.

Not sure why I didn’t buy one years ago…
I recently dropped my phone while it was charging with the cable connected. The phone survived, but the cord did not – it was bent almost 90 degrees where the Lighting connection meets the head of the cable. Any attempt to bend it back to its proper position was futile. This had been a great cord – fast USB-C charging and very long (maybe 10 feet). I immediately started scouring Amazon for the same type of cord, but with a 90 degree connection. I was elated when I found this cord, ordered it and it arrived a day later. It works flawlessly with my Anker iQ USB-C charger and no ‘Unknown Accessory Detected’ alert on the iPhone. It is virtually the same length and color as my former cord, but with one amazing, 90 degree upgrade. I’ll continue to try to not drop my phone – while it’s charging or otherwise – but I feel that both phone and cable are better prepared to suffer my future clumsiness. Additionally, being able to use the phone and charge it at the same without fear of cable breakage… chef’s kiss.
