Some people have complained this didn't come with a pole. It said it didn't in the description. Some people said it was too much money for a small piece of plastic. It isn't. First, read the description. Second, this little piece of plastic - although it's much stronger than mere plastic - does a job no other tool I've found does. Our ceiling fan went out and was replaced by our warranty company. However the replacement, which is far inferior to the original, has the reverse switch on the body of the fan - above the light - which makes it impossible to change the direction without a ladder. UNLESS you get this tool. I screwed it on the end of a broom handle (which was the instruction) and I can change the fan direction from standing on the floor of the room it's in. I don't want to change it seasonally - I want to change the direction when I want to change it. No more getting out a ladder to change the fan direction. Outstanding.

The "Smart Reacher" does what I needed; help close high windows that are two high up (18 foot wall) to reach without a ladder. The attachment easily screws into an extension pole (had purchased many hears back for other purposes).A little bit of finesse is needed to properly snag the window, maintain good pressure and keep the plastic lip in contact with the window; have mastered it so can be done relatively easily. There is a soft rubber mini sleeve that can be placed on the attachment lid to minimize any marring from the plastic. For the price, there should be a half dozen or more of these, since they will not last long with constant use.Overall, a great device that fits the bill!

The product was cleverly designed and works well. I would have given it a five but it does not come with a handle

This device works great for pulling down and raising my top down / bottom up window coverings without having to get on a chair. Very convenient and more effective than other tools I tried.

I looked high and low for a solution to how to open and close two sets of lines in my house that were just installed and the cords are short as they are for short upper windows. They are 12 feet high. This little gadget that screws onto any type of extension pole is genius. Nobody else makes anything like it. I bought a very nice expandable extension pole that shrinks down to 1 1/2 feet and up to 3 feet and it works perfectly together. I showed it to the installer when he had to come back to fix one of the blinds and he said that was the best solution he’s ever seen. I thought it was a little expensive over $12, but considering the problem is solved, it’s well worth it. Don’t waste your time searching around, there’s nothing else on the market that will work like this for corded blinds.

Got it for my elderly mother to adjust her blinds. The shorter the reach the better. But does the job.She doesn't have to wait for an aid to help adjust the blinds in the morning and evening.Works well.

I use a wheelchair due to spinal cord injury. I happened to have a lightweight aluminum pole threaded, this fit perfect and has become a valuable tool. I am on my second one and want to get a few more to use throughout the house.EDIT X 2 : February 16, 2021I have been in a wheelchair for 42 years due to a spinal cord injury. This little gadget has been an amazing tool.I have some short reachers around the house but I use this to adjust blinds nightly and each morning. Occasionally I will drop something under the bed or other places that are out of reach. I have this attached to a lightweight aluminum pole and this enables me to pull objects from places I would never be able to reach.With age I have gotten better at asking for help but still, tools like this allow me to maintain and maximize my independence. Small item makes a big difference!I will also add that I am 67 years old so beyond disability for anyone aging , arthritis etc. a great tool in my opinion.I just purchased 2 more.

Purchased this hoping to reach a high place cellular blind. This device neither holds the pull/push tab nor reliably does what I wanted. It may work for reaching things high up, but it won't hold them and all will crash on you. It may get something rolled under the couch, but so can a broomstick.So the receipt talks about returning the item but following those instructions there's no way to return -- seems ineligible and contacting the seller hasn't worked yet either. Round about and no resolve. Not happy. Though happy I didn't spend more money. Thank you, v
