These glasses can explode
I just had one from this purchase spontaneously detonate on the kitchen counter. I had another older one emerge from the dishwasher as a pile of glass. Apparently this is something that some of them do from time to time - google or reddit search. Going to get rid of them, they're a safety hazard.

These glasses are the definition of durable. We bought a set from IKEA about 8 years ago and have only had 1 break in that time. If you keep them from other items scratching them in the sink or dishwasher they will look as good as new for at least 8 years (unless you drop them lol)
