Great present!

Great Read
Great Read, well developed world, plot, characters. Once you get passed the first few chapters, it is a real page turner.

Still not the end of the story
This book has a title "the way of Kings Part II". It is really just the 2nd half of part I. The original edition of this was very long. They split that original edition into 2 parts. The final book of this series (which should now be called part III) has not been written yet. I bought the book on the assumption it was the conclusion of the Way of kings, but it is not.

Wonderful book, cool cover, bad description.
Please take a moment and turn your attention to the tiny text on the bottom of the cover- this is only half the book. Half of an excellent book (no shade on Brando Sando), but half the book, which is not specified in the listing title. I love the cover, but poorly advertised and more expensive than the full book I purchased to replace this.

even when looking now i cannot see where it states that this is the SECOND part of the first book, besides zooming in the bottom right corner of the picture of the book you cannot see.

THIS IS NOT THE SECOND BOOK IN THE SERIES
After really enjoying THE WAY OF KINGS, THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIVE I was interested in reading the second book. I looked all over and found this one. Part Two. I ASSumed it was the natural progression from book one. Wrong. It is a reprint of the first book in smaller paperback form. Im not sure why the author and publisher thought this was necessary unless it was to make more sales on the same pages I already owned in the first book. Very annoying and makes me not trust future issue from either of them.

Brandon Sanderson - Für mich ein neuer Tolkien
Ich habe schon mehrere Bücher von Sanderson gelesen und bin einfach nur begeistert. Die Art und Weise wie er schreibt ist extrem fesselnd und vor allem auf Englisch (Originalsprache) gefallen mir die Bücher noch besser. Ich kann nur sagen, dass es ihn alle Fantasy Fans lieben werden. Die Spannung ist immer hoch und es passiert auch so viele unerwartete Sachen, dass man diese Reihe nicht mehr aus der Hand legen will.
