I kind of hated it, and intended to put cotton pillowcases over both silky pillowcases. However, I took a nap on the pillow with the original pillowcase on, and I loved it. Yes, the pillowcase is always cool (not cold to me) to the touch, but it doesn't make me feel cold. I don't like the grey color, but that's a quibble. I know I should have washed the pillowcases immediately, but I'm not a germaphobe, so I didn't do it. For those of you wanting a replacement pillowcase and are unable to find one, just use a queen-sized silk pillowcase. That will fit, and I think it will also keep you cool, though I, too, wish we could buy a replacement for the original pillowcase in case it wears out, is ruined, etc. We love this pillow and find it as perfect as can be...so far. We've only had them for a day and a night, but I hope they will hold up. It really made our day to find something we love so much and something that really does give us much higher quality sleep. I'm dumbfounded by negative reviews. *by O***! on January 27, 2025* This is a very comfortable pillow. Memory foam, but unlike your usual foams. It stays softer, even when it's cold, and has this unique shape, almost like a cloud. As a person with a cervical neck injury, I've tried them all, from your typical cervical pillows to those flower shaped pillows, to traditional memory foam pillows, to everything in between. This feels like a hybrid of all 3! It holds your neck in the neutral position, whether you lay on your back or side, but it also has two different heights, one for neutral positioning and the other side is just barely noticably higher, and holds your neck just like a cervical pillow. I'm super bummed that this company isn't getting more love! It's kinda mind boggling. Sure, pillows are a subjective thing, but people are acting kinda harsh and some are making some unusual claims, like it feels too "clinical." It doesn't. It's soft and homey. I can feel the quality and care put into this product. Apparently it's dual layered foam, a harder foam inside and a fluffy soft cloud like outer shell. I find the shape of the pillow just rectangular enough to feel like the traditional pillow you're used to, but still very unique, and not too oddly shaped like those flower shaped pillows, which sometimes I find are somewhat limiting in movement and versatility. I got a tiny snag on the pillow case, which is a bummer. Bearded guy, cat owner, so who knows what happened?! But all in all, this pillow is in my Goldilocks zone of just the right softness, shape, comfort, and coolness, and never flattens out. I have nothing negative to say. If you are used to a traditional memory foam pillow the adjustment is mild. If you're used to feather pillows or similar, this is not that, and your mileage may vary. At the end of the day, it's a super cozy cloud pillow and kinda fun, while being wholly functional too. I'm hopeful people start taking to it, as this company seems like a great company that worked hard and deserves more kudos. I'm not at all affiliated with them, I just hate to see unconventional but innovative new products so misunderstood.
