Good product, used to use this in beer making, now use a very small amount to adjust water for coffee and tea.

I have been using LD Carlson Calcium Chloride to add Calcium to my 120-gal reef tank. I know people are using this brewing beers so I thought it should be pure enough for an aquarium. After dissolving 1lb of CaCl into 1 gallon of RO/DI water and let the solution settle for a week, I always noticed some precipitation at the bottom of the jug which I filtered out using a coffee filter. This means there is some level of impurity. However, I have been dosing this solution in my aquarium for more than five years with no adverse effect.

I use this as calcium to remineralize my RO water. It works very well.

A versatile product. It keeps the pickles crisp and cures tomato blossom end rot. I mixed 18 g in 4 liters of water per plant and drenched the grow bags. All the tomatoes that ripened after the drench were fine. Haven't brewed with it yet, but it was the best price. Much less expensive than the exact same chemical sold in smaller packages for pickling.

Just what I wanted for my pickling , won't need to buy it for a while that's for sure but that's great. I'll be vacuum sealing it for storage to ensure no moisture gets in. Fast delivery , totally satisfied

Great price for a 1lbs bag

After doing research on why my fermented dill pickles were soft I purchased this product. Super crisp now!

Sheer ? Anybody know what sheerness means in the context of a bag of CaCl2 ? I used it to make some cheese. I got a good yield, but a bit soft curd. Maybe I need more temp. Good value for 1lb of chemies.
