Not flimsy?** A: Hi Nicole, I am very pleased with my Dry Erase Pockets. They are sturdy, but not stiff. Easy for my students to use, but not flimsy. Perfect for my classroom. **Q: Do these contain latex?** A: I don't believe so. **Q: Could these be used as placemats?** A: I didn't try it myself so I couldn't give honest feedback. However, if I were to give an opinion, it would be a pretty small placemat and I wouldn't feel confident about putting warm plates because the plastic is pretty thin. After a couple uses, there were already wrinkles/creases on them.
