My world is on fire, and Iโm obsessed with the girl who lit the match. Bloodied knuckles and a lifeless body at my feet confirm it: Penny is my demise. My gentlemanly facade is nothing but a memory. My sins are seeping through my shirt like ink. I tried to leave her. Couldnโt do it. I tried to snuff the life out of her. Couldnโt do that, either. So weโll slow dance in the flames until Iโm nothing but ash and embers. Iโll only rise like a phoenix when sheโs gone. The problem is, Iโd never let her go. No, sheโd have to run far, far, away to escape me. And maybe she will if I just told her the truth: I own the Sinners Anonymous Hotline. And Iโve listened to every call sheโs ever made. DARK MAFIA ROMANCE - ENEMIES TO LOVERS - AGE GAP - SLOW BURN *** SOMMEโS NOTES: Sinners Consumed is part two of a duet. Rafe & Pennyโs story starts in Sinners Condemned, which will be out September 7. For a better reading experience, please read Sinners Anonymous before reading Sinners Condemned & Sinners Consumed. You should know that I write dark romance, and my storiesโincluding this oneโarenโt for the faint of heart. They contain several triggers, so arenโt suitable for everyone. Review: Amazinggggg - This was the epic conclusion to Rafe and Pennys story. I couldnโt stop listening! So good! Review: Rafe takes the crown ๐ - This is part two of the duet, and honestly, my only real complaint is that this should have been one book. The split felt unnecessary. That said, do not mistake that for lack of obsession, because I am absolutely feral over Rafe and Penny. For anyone who hasnโt read it yet, this continues Rafe and Pennyโs story after everything detonates in part one (book 2 in the series). Weโre deep in dark mafia territory, enemies to lovers energy, obsession, control issues, and a man who is completely undone by one woman. Rafe is spiraling, Penny is his downfall, and the power dynamic is constantly shifting in the most addictive way. Rafe Visconti truly showed what YEARNING is in this book. This man was on his knees emotionally, physically, spiritually, and I ate it up with a SPOON. The groveling. The desperation. The devotion. Watching him fall apart because of Penny, and fall harder because of it, was everything. He is absolutely one of my top mafia men right now, no question. Penny continues to be one of the best FMCs Iโve read outside of fantasy. She is sharp, confident, playful, and completely in control without ever needing to dominate the room. The way she walks Rafe like a DOG, the banter between them, the push and pull, it all just worked. Their chemistry is explosive, and every interaction felt charged even when nothing big was happening. I also have to say it again: Rory is a queen. I adored her here. Her own book truly did not do her justice, because she absolutely shines in this one. Seeing her through this lens made me love her so much more. Is the plot a little thin? Sure. But I genuinely did not care. I was too busy watching these two fall in LOVE in real time. The banter was perfection, the love felt earned, and the emotional payoff hit exactly where it needed to. I also ended this even more invested in the rest of the cast. I need Gabeโs book immediately, and Nicoโs too. This universe has me fully locked in. Overall, despite wishing this had been one book instead of a duet, I loved it. The yearning, the devotion, the dynamic, the obsession. Rafe and Penny own me. No mafia romance will ever do yearning like this again.

Speechless
Amazing doesnโt even cut it. Penny is the epitome of flawed and perfect. Strong. Smart. Funny. So very courageous and utterly genuine and relatable. Like probably most of you, I readโฆa lot and the only other MFC thatโs even come a little close to Pennyโs fire was Mara in Sophie Larkโs โThere Are No Saintsโ but even she died a lil for me by โThere Are No Devilsโ but Penny remained true. Itโs Rafe that proves heโs everything she needs by simply being her constant, just showing up. Neither character becoming something theyโre not. Their essence remain and thatโs so very rare. The only other MMC in H.D. Carltonโs โHaunting Adeline.โ I applaud Somme with providing HEA that simmers, that doesnโt deliver two wholly changed characters that had us turning every page like food to a starving man when the book started. I thought I loved โSinners Condemnedโ but this one truly did consume.

Amazing as an 'Immersive Read'
Perfect ending to this duet (Sinners Condemned / Sinners Consumed) with so much groveling ๐ I absolutely adore this series and all of the characters. I don't want to leave any spoilers because I went into this series blind and am so happy I did, but I will suggest that you get the book on KU and listen to the audiobook at the same time. I did that with the last two books (only listened to the first book), and it made the experience so enjoyable. And yes, I own the physical books too...what can I say? I'm obsessed ๐ I know I'm a little late to discovering Somme Sketchers work and haven't been waiting on Gabe and Wrens book as long as everyone else...but I don't know what I'm going to do unill it comes out ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ

Better than the previous.
3.5/5 โญ๏ธ 5/5 ๐ถ This book was much better than the first. It was 10x better from the very start. Sinners Condemned and Sinners Consumed did not need to be a duet. Itโs not that I disliked this book, but it wasnโt anything great that really stuck with me. I get why people enjoyed it, but it felt like there was something missing. I love that you finally get to see their relationship develop and I really do enjoy their banter. The smut happens quickly, but the romance is still a very slow burn. With having an entire book about them before this, it didnโt need to be so drawn out. There was no shift in the story, not much happened except for the relationship blossoming. I assumed there would be a big plot twist or something truly exciting, but that never came. The only exciting part is when their relationship crashes a bit. The whole book is focused on their romance. I have a love/hate relationship with how stubborn they were. Their banter is so funny, and they have chemistry, but if they would get their heads out of their asses, this wouldnโt have taken so long. There were some scenes that were very swoon worthy. I do like both characters as well as the side characters. More so in this than the first. The ending felt a little rushed which didnโt make sense to me because the romance couldโve been condensed a little more so the ending could have been finished. You donโt really see when they truly mend the relationship, but watching how he dealt with their rough patch was so much funnier than I expected. It ends with a happily ever after, but not in the way I expected, and it felt as if itโs because the author was rushing to end the book. The writing was very well done and the duet had a lot of potential, but there could have been more. I would have liked it more if it was all one book.

idk whoโs more stubborn
Wow Rafe is really stupid at times huh? lol. Iโm glad he has Penny. Penny is also infuriating so I guess Iโm glad she has Rafe too. I enjoyed this storyline a lot more than the first. These two are so hot all the time. Enemies with benefits might be a new favorite of mine now!

It keeps getting better
A great ending, i think is the first time I actually see a man groveling than much on a book, a well deserved one. Penny was in did his doom, but how would an obstinate man like him realise he choose the wrong card all those years ago otherwise? Fate does work in mysterious ways. But I will say the first part of the book was a bit over extended, it could all have been one longer book, but I'm not complaining. This couple is fire! And the longer I could read about them the better.

Match made by fate
Highly recommend Rafe and Penny's story. Some twists and turns where you're not sure if they will get their HEA. Lots of Spice!! Their story is not dark but definitely emotional, complicated by their own barriers, but deeply tied together by karma. Their story far outweighs book 1. Strong FMC A great book to listen and read simultaneously. Definitely a must read

Sinners Consumed Review
Here it is the best work of Somme Sketcher, until now. Sinners Consumed has an amazing narrative and characters are incredible, I love the two protagonists with my entire life. Penny was even amazing in this book than in the first one. She had an amazing development and all of her was constructed very well. I loved her relationship with Rory and how they were such a good friends to each other. Rafe was an amazing character as well, I really loved him a lot since his first book. His relationship with his brothers was amazing and became even more in love with how close they are. Rafe had an amazing individual development. Rafe and Penny relationship was amazing, they have an amazing chemistry and they love each other very much, it was amazing to see how much they love each other. Somme Sketcher constructed a very good relationship, with a lot of domestic scenes.

He falls first and hard, this was AMAZING and a breath of fresh air!
This second book of the duet was amazing, even better than Sinners Condemned. This couple and their playful vibe and hating/teasing is everything. And I'm a sucker for a simping MMC. Once again, Somme Sketcher was able to suprise me and suck me in the story. Can't wait for what comes next. Highly recommend, this was a unique mafia romance. As always with dark romance, make sure you check the trigger warnings. *This book is the 3rd book in the Sinners Anonymous series, second of a duet in that series. It is preferable to read Sinners Anonymous before this duet because there is an ongoing plot throughout the books. **This book is written in 1st person and is dual pov.

Addictive!
I simply loved this book! Rafe & Penny's story was all consuming. In this we get to see more of their relationship development and individual character growth. The first book made it seem like Penny is a gold digger and Rafe is rude to her but in this book, their true personalities came out and I loved them both so much! I adored Penny and her ability to stand her ground and the way she made Rafe grovel was entertaining to read. I dove into this new world and fell in love with the writing and the characters. I liked almost every side character in the story and I can't wait to read more about them if the author decides to mention them in her future books. Overall, I'm so glad I read this book because it was entertaining, swoon-worthy, well-written and amazing!
